    To: Lowell C McAdam, Verizon
I am outraged to hear that although Verizon made billions of dollars in profit last year, it paid no corporate income taxes and is trying to cut jobs instead of creating new ones. This approach belies the usual thinking that cutting corporate taxes will promote creating jobs. Additionally, Verizon's products are transported on roads paid by our tax dollars and made, supported and marketed by people who learned their skills in schools supported by our tax dollars. I believe Verizon has an obligation to the American public to help maintain those services. I am currently not a Verizon customer and will not consider becoming one until Verizon changes its policies in these areas.
