    the value-added by the financial community does not justify their compensation.  Same with the CEO of many corporations.  The appropriate answer is to significantly increase the tax on the most wealthy.

the recession was caused by the greed of the banks and the lack of regulation by the government.  Put the responsible bankers in jail and significantly increase the regulation of the financial industry.
