    For most of human history there were no financiers. The Egyptians, the Greeks, the Romans, the Mayans, the great dynasties of China had no financiers. You are not indispensible.

Seven hundred years ago, early capitalism freed serfs to make their own lives and foster human freedom. Today, a form of laissez-faire capitalism undermines democracy, destroys freedom, pollutes the environment, etc. History teaches that you are not indispensible.

You ignore history at your own peril.
