    To Whom it May Concern:

Most likely your parents or grandparents survived the Great Depression. One lesson most people learned from that experience was to make sure their families were provided for. I am sure that you have made efforts to look after your families. That is as it should be.

It is morally wrong, though, to conduct yourself in such a way that other people who work hard are deprived of a way to provide for their own families. 

You've been lucky. That doesn't make you any better than somebody who hasn't had that luck.

Do the right thing and "pay it forward." Please.
