  • Declined for Morgage Modification | 0   

    Forunately, we have not lost our house yet.  About a year ago my husbands hours and salary were cut by 50%.  We had never missed a morgage payment.  We applied for a Morgage Modification and were turned down.  Included in all the reams of paper we supplied was a letter from the company he works for stating that his salary would be cut in half.  So after jumping through all the hooks and sending all the forms it was a tough blow.  The explanation was that we didn't show a finanical hardship.  I don't know how much the CEO of B of A makes but it's no where near what my husband made after he lost 50% of his salary.  I guess I was under the wrong impression about the program was there to help people having trouble with their payment.  Silly me!!!!
