We're tired of supporting your waste! | 0
I'm sure you are aware of the Occupy Wall Street movement. Now it is time the message entered the board room. As members ofthe 1% you took the governemnt bailout which was money provided by the labor of the 99%. Instead of building programs to benefit the donors you gave yourselves bonuses larger than the working donors could ever hope to earn in a lifetime of labor. It is time to call you to ACCOUNT FOR YOUR SELFISH WASTREL ACTIONS! Stop bleeding the working people in order to lavish money on the already wealthy. Modify your programs to benefit the working people! Karen Gordon Maurertown, VA 22644

The Dalai Lama once said that the only weapon of mass destruction was indifference. How can YOU live with yourself and feel happy when you know, your temporary joy and wealth are based on tears, suffering and blood of many people that just like you (at one point) just wanted to be happy. How can you kiss your kids good night when you know you are responsible for many families torn apart, going hungry, loosing everything including the possibility to help their kids future. You proved yourself to not be compassionate. WE do not need People like you. There is no anger, just the realization. The top where you are at, no longer serve you. We can't as a people afford uncompassionate, inconsiderate like yourself. It is time to the people and the decent politicians of this country to wake up for the reality that We the People no longer accept your business practices, without ethics, principals or compassion. This is it. Liane Legey Richmond, VA 23236

Narcississtic 1%... Yes,$ talks but your false god is about to enter a train wreck with something more potent...''WE-THE-PEOPLE''.Do not underestimates us as you gorge and glutton yourselves to absurd excess. All things out-of-control seek a balance and a leveling sunnammi is about to arrive.Take some surfing lessons while there's still time. So what have you done without any concern to me and mine? The list is large so I'll simplify.I've fought to stay in my home(...twice).I've been found guilty on false charges by your justice system...a system only concerned with high conviction rates and the ridiculous $ windfall from it's private prison network.I've had my good name dragged through the mud...your mud.I rob Peter to pay Paul every month just to eat and survive ...and Peter is now gone.So much more.I know who you are...how you work..and what motivates you...but,you know nothing about me or mine. You're too self-preoccupied to see or know anyone or anything but yourself. Your egocentric mistake is to believe we are all the lesser, dumb masses.Your mistake is to live in your ivory towers blaming all but yourselves for your own mistakes and excesses. You are so riddled with shame you try to appease this with unending ambitions and acquisitions. You're still looking for Mother's and Father's acceptance as grown men,and occasionally women. You are so empty and insatiable because you search for love and fulfillment externally rather than knowing and truly caring for yourselves. You are so full of intrinsic but unfaced guilt that you project every bit of it elsewhere.Sorry,time's-up.Far too many of us are not at all addicted to you as our abusers any longer.Far too many of us are suffering needlessly because of your delusions of grandeur.A REVOLUTION is ahead and it won't pass soon.Brace yourselves because the image you've long seen and cultivated in your own self-obsessed mirror is about to crack and prove false.Sorry, but you've been worshipping the wrong/false God in every direction. There's nowhere to hide now and no one left to bail you out any more. You'll make further extreme efforts to grab and hold onto all you have...because your true sense of emptiness is becoming more apparent every day. And,most importantly of all...YOU WILL NOT HAVE OR DESTROY OUR DEMOCRACY.NO WAY...NO HOW.You are the empty few while we are the substantial many. So,get used to some true prophecies for a change and best-of-luck in the crisis ahead. As the wise Chinese said...''CRISIS=OPPORTUNITY''.You've manipulated our crises again and again to get richer but the crisis ahead is our opportunity now rather than yours.Have a little FAITH! My family is not facing eviction or foreclosure. My two college age children will not graduate with any debt as a result of tuition. However, my family is still in the 99%. My husband works 12 hour days at a high-stress job, and then comes home to eat dinner, practice drums, and go to sleep. He is in a relatively successful band which provides us with the extra money we need to send our children through college. Both of our children have merit scholarships and have done very well in school, but we still have to come up with $8000 a year to send them to public universities. Tuition in our state has risen consistently throughout the four years they have been in school. I am self-employed and my business has suffered due to the economy. However, our property taxes have sky-rocketed and our heating and electricity bills are through the roof. My husband's job provides health insurance, but the portion that we have to pay has risen substantially over the years. We do not eat out, and have not taken a vacation in 7 years. We are in debt with our home and credit cards, and it is not due to living extravagantly; we do not. Things need to improve for the middle class, or like us, we will watch our situation degrade until we are no longer in the middle class. Janice Demeski 07508

In the fall of 2008, the American people had a choice. They could treat the financial sector the way a bank would treat any customer who showed bad judgment and lost all of his money, by seizing what assets were left and sending the customer to fend for himself with ruined credit. Or, they could allow those foolish companies to survive, by loaning them billions of dollars, with the assumption that those companies would do what only they could to prevent worldwide financial ruin. Against much opposition, our leaders decided to loan the money. What appears to have happened is that the foolish companies have taken the money, withheld assistance to the American taxpayer, and lobbied against any regulations that might prevent them from repeating their mistakes. Rather than pass along the credit granted to them by the American taxpayer, they have withheld credit and even pursued fraudulent foreclosures on the very people whose taxes kept them afloat. It's time for the 1% and the banking institutions to stop taking chances on far-fetched financial schemes, and start taking chances on American workers. Hire us for new businesses, loan us money to start our own, pay us enough to keep us out of bankruptcy as we struggle to raise our families and get an education. That's not re-distribution wealth, it's the American way. Lessye DeMoss San Marcos, TX 78666

I am on SSDI, so my health insurance is a combination of Medicare, Community Blue and Medicaid. I was receiving 40 hrs/wk from Medicaid but now they have cut me back to 29 hrs/wk plus b/c I am on Medicare, I can only sign up for medical day care. I have had MS for 30 yrs., and as I am 57 yrs. old, I wanted to go to a day care program that had younger people. If I was a part of the 1% I could privately pay for the services I could use but as I'm not a part of this group, I know my options are limited. Sharon Hoff 14226

I guess you won't be satisfied until there is nothing left to profit from. How will your Masters consider you useful then? From education to medicine to the very air we breathe; the water we drink to the tainted food we consume. From exorbitant taxes on the working man and the middle class who pay the bill when it comes due to a fiat money system that is illusionary; a set of entries on a computer spreadsheet with no real value. From a graduated income tax that was pushed through with criminal overtones, to an international monetary conduit called the FED that issues American citizens their own money at 17% on every dollar issued; to the usurious and deceitful manipulation of firms such as Goldman Sachs and Berkshire-Hathaway the American taxpayer and businessman is constantly defrauded by you. If Buffet truly wants to impress us then he should write a certified bank cheque payable to the American people of at least two billion dollars. They might believe he is sincere at that point; especially if it clears. If you really want to see what the devil looks like look no further than Milton Friedman and the IMF policies based on his economic theories. You have made everything a commodity to be manipulated for your avaricious consumption. The UN stated back in 2002 at the Rainbow Convention that they wanted an 85% global population reduction as of 2025 at the latest by any means possible. That is genocide; so who get's to play god and decide who lives and who dies? I would presume that many of you like Bill Gates embrace that ideal. Yes you do your charity to be seen in the public eye as doing good. That is only so that you can balance the gross evil you so enjoy in the darkness and recesses of the boardrooms and your private lives; rejoicing at the suffering of others on a global scale. I'm sure Uncle Milty did and so do your Masters. You must maximize this suffering as a sweet smell and a burnt offering to be offered on the altar before your god Mammon. I am not against capitalism since it is the only system we have that actually works. I am against corporatism just as I am against large unions who no longer serve their purpose; but are run as a business to maximize profit and benefits for their upper echelon just as you do for the firms you work for. Corporatism is a parasite that destroys its host and then can no longer propagate; dooming both rather than working in a symbiotic environment and relationship with the host. Your lives that are so full of the materialistic aspects of this dimension are so bereft of anything enlightening; moral or ethical. Your kingdom is one of emptiness; hopelessness bereft of light, bringing only shadow and suffering. You can change all that if you so desire to. This planet upon which we live is a wondrous place that offers us so much. We can only continue to rape and pillage for so much longer. I'm not in favor of giving money to those who will not work. I am in favor of giving a fair playing field to all who want to work and get an education in the hope of securing better jobs. I read the story of a man with three university degrees; 50K in debt and no way to support his family. These are the real stories behind the Occupy Wall Street Movement; not the parasites pushing drugs or those merely wanting a free ride - something for nothing. Michael Kirkby Toronto, ON M5R3C2

When the large majority of the people has no share of the economic pie, a society is not just. Your wealth is based on the labor and contributions of others. Please give back some of the wealth you have amassed unjustly in a spirit of generosity, or risk having it taken away from you by force. Stephen Rosenblum Palo Alto, CA 94301

Is it worth it to you to keep money from others so that they get sick and die, they starve, they live wherever they can find shelter, maybe even the street? It must be worth it, and you go to sleep at night. If you saw the injustice in what you do, I really do believe you'd do something. Please only take what you need, not what you crave. Let others have an existence. If we wouldn't be here, you wouldn't have anything at all. Jo Green Ell Cerrito, CA 94530
FAIRNESS | 0
You live in your big mansions with 'servants' to take care of the mundane tasks, get driven around in your big fancy cars, dine on the finest cuisine, wear expensive designer clothes. All while the REST OF US struggle just to survive. We aren't asking for hand-outs!! We are asking for jobs to keep our families together. To be able to provide homes, food, clothing and health care. To US, these are the basic necessities. To YOU, they are ENTITLEMENTS!! Gayle Hawes Fresno, CA 93720
Inequality in our country | 0
Dear CEO,
You folks are responsible for the greatest disparity in earings that has ever graced our country. Millions are starving, without the basic goods that make life tenable.
It's time for you to pay your fair share. It's time for you to think of others, not just yourselves. It's time for you to reduce the inequities.

I am a retired elementary school teacher, college instructor and piano teacher. I am an artist now, and a band leader. I'm also a disabled senior who relies on Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. Without these things, I would die. A lot of people would miss me if these things were privitized or diminished. Is that what you would want for me and my friends? Marian 97213

Tell Wall Street as directly as possible how you feel. The Bush / Obama financial system bailout of 2008+ is an abomination, to use an old American word, and served the interests of those who have governed us for a very long time, and repulsively since Reagan's 1980 presidency. Neo-conservatism should be the target, maximally, bluntly. -Lewis EllinghamYour message here. Tell Wall Street how you feel. Lewis Ellingham San Francisco, CA 94114-2653
Raise taxes, not poverty. | 0
You would dare to cut teachers, school service agencies, services for the homeless and uninsured before raising taxes on your PROFITS? I am an ivy-league educated second year teacher in New York City public schools watching services and jobs get cut left and right for my students while my peers on Wall Street bring home bonus pay during this "recession." If it is a recession, let us all feel it. If not, restore services. Ariela 11211
