  • Time for you to stop the criminal activities | 0

    Dear Corporate CEOS,

You have lost sight of the American people entirely, other than duping them out of their retirement savings, telling them they qualify for mortgages they can't really afford, side betting mortgages to promote failure of mortgagees abilities to repay same, even conspired with overseas banks, etc. to bilk them as well, created and spun this whole mess beginning in 2006 to become overlords of the USA and even the world.
You now have misjudged your "slaves" because we are joining in thousands and even millions to put a stop to your "Romanistic" ways. The rise of financial supremacy is coming to its' end, and you have forced the correction by assuming we citizens are stupid. Not the case. We are building it, and we will be coming.....

  • Financial Services Taking Too Much of the Pie | 0

I firmly believe that the financial services sector is taking up way too much of the economic pie in this country. I read the other day that the average salary for workers at JP Morgan’s investment bank was somewhere around $389,000! What value do people like this create? They are merely moving money around. They are not creating tangible things or intellectual property that can be sold and bring in revenue and add value to people’s lives, they are simply manipulating, processing, and repackaging the revenue created by the working people in this country. Meanwhile, the working people are hard hit with a serious jobs deficit, and I read that this jobs deficit is going to continue for quite some time. I think the phrase “jobless recovery” is an oxymoron. If there ain’t no jobs, there ain’t no recovery—period! So...what does this have to do with the financial services sector? They are overpaid, they are under-taxed, and they destroy value instead of creating value. The financial sector destroyed the economy in 2008 by going crazy with bad mortgages, CDOs and credit default swaps. The economy is a commons that we all use. To use a metaphor, it’s as if we were all at the lake and a huge speedboat came by and swamped us by ignoring the speed limit. In the wake of this incident many people are drowning in debt because they lost their jobs. And yet the financial services sector goes humming right along, even INCREASING the wages of its workers, as if it did nothing wrong! The industry needs to be more heavily taxed in order to cut down on all this high-speed trading nonsense that creates no value whatsoever and destabilizes the markets.

Last year I was a banker on Halloween and many people said I was the scariest person at the Halloween party. Sad to say, I will probably be one again. I can’t think of a scarier costume.

  • Occupy the Boardroom! | 0

I find it interesting how corporations are given rights as people. I wonder if our founding fathers intended that. I for one don't think so. When a corporation can bleed red and feel pain then I will consider changing my mind. People built the corporations and when i say people i mean the 99% who work diligintly to make the corporation successful. As an American I am proaud to help build our economy through my hard work and labor. Somehow America has been led a stray by GREED. We must look within ourselves as Human beings and find a way to help our country change for the better. Instead of driving our Once Great Nation into the ground in the name of GREED!

  • Wall Street Wrecking Balls Lives In America! | 0

When regular citizens lose pensions, homes and lives, due to the greed that is the foundation of this Evil Empire...The Wall Street!!

It needs to be demolished, its foundation rebuilded with people-solid protections and made whole by the 1% on Wall Street across our nation. So pay up or go to prison, where all criminals belong who operate the most openly corrupt financial entity created in the entire globe...second only to banking.

The bank told me to stop paying so I could "enjoy" their special because the property I had purchase some months ago was devaluated. Reluctantly I did what they said, but when the terms came in the mail, they were NOT what we had discussed. When I told them to send me the terms as discussed, two days later the person I had spoken to supposedly was not working there anymore and I got served by a second entity which I had never done business with... and that later SEC charged its CEO's and execs with fraud. After that, every time I would start paperwork to save my home - and I DID EVERYTHING BY THE BOOK- my loan was sold again and I'd have to start over. in the end, Corp America screwed over my husband and let him go unjustly (another thing that has NO regulation and NO soul) so we couldn't go any further...

Thanks! for ruining MY LIFE. I still wake up gasping for air several times a night (that is when I CAN sleep) because unlike those of you who don't care, I DO. I cared about doing the right thing and I still do but you've CUT MY ARMS AND LEGS. I am now living in a ROOM! As far as I'm concerned banks, corporations, the car industry (yes, Chrysler sold me a junk car from the factory and refused to repair it so I went YEARS with NO A/C in FLORIDA, try that after you paid for a car) and everything else that's been going on, is PATHETIC AND DISGUSTING.

  • Occupy Movements... | 0

    Dear Sirs and Madams,
I would hope that if you sat down and really thought about where the protesters are coming from you would understand the necessity of this movement. Please, put yourself in their shoes. I know you're not in their shoes, you're successful and affluent. Why should you care about a bunch of underachieving plebians?
Because if we don't address these issues now I fear we will have an all-out Class War in the not too distant future. That's the last thing we need at this juncture in history. I am afraid for everyone's well-being, yours' included.

I believe there is enough money and food for everyone on this planet. We just have to spread it around, make sure everyone's needs are met. How hard could it be for you to facilitate this when many of you have more money than you could lavishly spend in a lifetime? I know you can do it.

I'd like to think that you haven't already because of a human trait called 'innocent exuberance'. You were caught up in the excitement of 'the game' and didn't realize what you were doing. The Occupy Movement has made you aware. Please, sieze this opportunity to change the lives of the masses, the downtrodden. History will smile on you.

YOU can save the world right now. I know you can do it. Gosh, I wish I had that opportunity. It is beautiful and exciting. People would love you all over the globe you would be hailed as heroes. I know you're up for this challenge. I know you can succeed at this task. So how about it? Let's save the world?

    Sincerely,

  • Responsibiliity | 0

Those who have a lot have a social responsibility to help look after those who do not, including other people and the animals. This is becoming increasingly clear as millions of people are shafted and animals are going extinct for the selfish monetary reasons - and the few sit in their lofty towers like the kings and feudal lords of old. Isn't this what our forefathers died for -- a democracy that was equal for all?

Being in a position of power you must not hoard and grab and let your greed increase. Take a deep breath, see the world around you for what it is and make a fair contribution to the well being of others that will bring you more joy than all your wealth.

  • I own stocks ... and I'm angry! | 0

I'm a stock owner, 59 years old, and a millionaire...and I'm angry! Who am I angry at? At YOU! I've seen you getting richer and richer for the last 30+ years while the middle class and the poor lose ground. All you 'fat cats' who control America with lobbyists and huge political contributions to your tame polititions are turning America into a third world country of a tiny rich class and a huge poor one. It's time to stop before there is a new revolution - a violent one. At that point it will be too late for us all ... you'll be dead and maybe me, too. You need to think about giving something back to your country instead of just taking all the time. I support Occupy Wall Street!

  • Health Care For ALL | 0

We need to take money out of our system of providing health care - there is no place for share holder profits in providing health care - we need to focus on people's needs not making money for CEO's and share holders - an expanded, Improved Medicare for All is crucial for our country.

  • Time to share the wealth with the people | 0

    To whom it may concern,

Your unbridled greed has caused the slaughter, maiming, imprisonment, displacement, rape, torture, poverty, starvation and misery of untold millions of people around the world. On top of that you are destroying the environment.

For your sins you should all be tried for crimes against humanity.

However, all the Occupy Together protesters and the people of the world is asking is that you start paying your fair share of taxes and you stop exploiting people and the environment for your short term and short sighted personal greed.

I hope you are listening to the 99% that are asking you to share with the rest of us. If you don't the 99% might just decide to take it from you.

    Pleasant dreams.

  • WE ARE GROWING, NOW WE WILL SHOW YOU | 0

DEAR 1%: We are, in the pursuit of happiness, and that is our lawful right. The children, that are not even born yet, will read, and hear, about us, some day, of what we had to do, to get rid of a people, trying to put us in slavery, in our own country. They used our own gov. against us, and stole all the money, and tried to sell our country to China. But we had to overcome, the oil companies, the big corporations, a party, that was only for the Rich, and yes, the stock exchange, plus the crooked police, and big city gov. But we had no place to go, so we had to win!!!

  • TIme for change | 0

It's time for you to pay more in taxes, to give us back SOME of what you stole from us. It's time for you to stop paying yourselves humongous salaries and bonuses. It's time for you to stop wrecking the environment we all have to live in just to make a few more bucks for yourselves. It's time for you to stop contributing vast amounts of money to any (mostly GOP) politician who will blindly do your bidding (and do a LOT of damage to the country in the process). And it is time for MANY of you to go to jail where you belong.

  • WHERE IS MY BAILOUT? | 0

You were bailed out of your massive debt by the US Government, using MY tax dollars, all caused by your reckless, criminal activities, and now that you're all flush again, high-fiving and handing out $Billions in bonuses to each other, instead of changing your ways, you've simply returned to doing the exact same activities that have destroyed the nations economy and left me unemployed.
I demand equal treatment. I demand you give ME a bail-out. After all, I wasn't the one who caused this situation, YOU WERE!!!
