Contrary to what you people feel is a bunch of free sex druggies who have nothing but time on their hands, is the reality of middle and lower class folks, working and retired, teachers, lawyers, entrepreneurs, under and unemployed, writers, farmers....you name us! We are sick and tired of the control you exert on our lives and livelihoods! I'm a 57 year old builder/craftsman who has raised four children, one of which served this country in Iraq, came home with PTSD, married, has a child, goes to school, works part-time, cares for his child, and struggles daily with his anxiety and depression. Two other children work and go to university with little help from parents who can't afford to help. My oldest son works for utility company and has three children. The lot of us struggle with bills, budgets, etc., and know we've been dispossessed. We are all committed to fight greed and avarice. Avarice is a disease that you've succumbed to. You're infected with this undesirable quality and are useless to mankind. You exploits are being exposed and those you've enslaved are uniting to plunder your domain.

The bald-faced audacity whereby the banks that put us in the dire economic straits we are in, after being bailed out by the government, rewarded their executives with obscene bonuses is a black mark on our history. The rage expressed by the good folks camping in Zucotti Park is felt by many more of us than are physically there.

A NY Time's article said that the Wall Street CEOs think we're a bunch of fringe lunitics. I'm about as main stream as you're going to get. A civil servant with a professional title. I get .75 percent on my savings, and pay so many banking fees for the privilege of having your guys use my money, that I'd be ahead keeping my money in my mattress. I have a credit rating of 790, but that didn't stop B and Am from raising my Visa rate from 7.5% to 12.5% to pay for, according to their explanation, 'fines and penalties.' Yeah, B of Am's fines and penalties. This, after taking my tax dollars in bail-outs. I'm not fringe. I'm just mad as hell.

I am 54, I have been taking care of people who are medicare and foodstamps for 34 years. I am living with 8 people because of this crap that is going on. I am totally sick of it. If another person loses their jobs, you will have to take care of 8 of us. Thanks for nothing.

A Fitting Form of Address-as 'Dear Sirs & Madams' or even 'To Whom It May Concern', usually precede the body of a letter. In this case, no appropriate, fitting or neutral option is available.
The destructive, high handed recklessness, which is standard practice of most banking and financial organizations, has crippled national and global economies. Despite effectively destroying its own client base, this ignorant greed continues to propogate more havoc.
The truth that every dollar placed in your hands contributes to the decline of functional economy has never been more evident and the bonus mongering foolery has become a bitter emblem to those of us now choosing to remove our funds from your irresponsible and stupid systems.
The only aspect of my own 'story' I share here is as one voice, attached to many. My details differ from actual millions of others, yet we share the effects responsibly and WILL continue to forge new tools to repair and reform the structure, which has been rendered useless and obsolete by the greed and incompetence employed by a bunch of absurdly 'powerful' fools.
    Sincerely,
    S. Colina

I am the Executive Director of the Center for Natural and Traditional Knowledge, and am a National Merit Scholar, having looked at global economics and politics at American University.

After years working for the government I realized that the best way for me to spend my life would be to create a safety net for the coming time when the dollar would crash.

The dollar has so obviously been misused and abused by the few, with the requisite sacrifice borne on the backs of the many. Lawyers, guns and money...

So at the CNTK (Center for Natural and Traditional Knowledge) we have worked for years to develop the kind of curriculum that can take us back to a beautiful place. An EcoVillage, a place where people actually care about each other, care about the Earth, and each other's families.

We are all one. One planet, one air, one heart.

We have prayed for a long time now that the people who have hijacked our country would come to justice, and honestly, we're just never going to stop until you are down here on the streets with us, talking with us in a respectful way, or perhaps better yet, serving time in prison for the many crimes you have committed.

But the worst crime of all, is that your life must be so totally empty,

    Who can you trust?

What do you have to love? What loves you back?

Every morning, when I walk out into the sunny fields I have created with my own work, (the way our ancestors did from all around the world) I am filled with joy.

The beauty of the birds, the smell of fresh soil, the delicious fruits of my labor are everything a woman can want.

And this relationship is reciprocal. What I love, loves me back.

    What loves you?

We still do. We still can. We can coem together, sit down our guns, sit down the false monetary system that has been upheld at gunpoint, and we can live as brother and sister.

A new dream for our world is possible every day. We have the power to change everything overnight.

And anyhow, its happening whether you like it or not.

    Blessings and Beauty

  • 401K wrecked - by wall street speculators | 0

My husband's 401K has significant reduced value because of the practices on wall street. We are working hard to maintain class living but the financial giants of our country move us backwards.
