If only one % of the people have money to spend what happens to our economy. A fair distribution of paying taxes, is the only way we con grow.

We put lots of money into other countries(war, relief, bribes, etc.). Wouldn't it be wondeful if some of that money was put into fighting poverty in this country? My son is working only part time. With a college degree. Try supporting a family on that!!!!

There is no way out of the crisis without any change. The sky is the limit vision of the economy is coming to a dead end street. It is time to think globally and forget about individuality. CEO etc are used to cut expanses, cut job, cut wages and now time is come to cut big salary of the top executive and big trips, big vacation, big SUV, big Hummers, big Castles by the oceans. It is time that everyone on the planet enjoy free access to water, food and housing. For god sake, stop piling billions at the bank and start making this world better place to live because now, time to make it better is becoming smaller by the minute. After, it will be too late.

  • Time to reign in casino capatalism! | 0

Time to end the American "endless greed" show that has gone on for the last 30 years! Time to move back to more sane expectations about corporate profits and executive pay. Time to quit rewarding the worst of the Casino Capitalism abuses!! Time to get back to a place that is sustainable, sensible, and in line with the rest of the world.

It's also time to stop abusing the environment to try to maximize profits! That too needs to move to a sane, sustainable level that reflects a decent sense of being just one country in the world that shares the ONE planet with EVERYBODY!

We need to replace the "greed is good" mentality!! For our kids and their kids sake, grow up and have a bit bigger view of what's going on here, besides just ourselves ...

Dear Those Who Have More Money Than They Have Time To Spend It,

I wonder what would happen... you now have the possibility, with what you have now earning interest, to purchase anything you could ever possibly want. Perhaps two of everything you could want, or 3. What if, for JUST ONE YEAR, you took $1 as a salary, and divvied up the rest among your customers and employees earning less than 100,000 per year-- Raising salaries and forgoing some fees, penalties, and service charges. I wonder what that would do to the economy. My hypothesis is that your standard of living would not decline in the least, and the economy would improve tremendously. You may even experience a sense of contentment previously alien to you. Why not give it a try?

    All the best,

If you don't stop the greed, you will not only destroy your own markets ( think French Revolution) you will also be the cause of a serious AMERICAN REVOLUTION!

It all started when R. Reagon destroyed the idea that workers should have the right to form a Union and ask for better pay and working conditions.
When any group(Bankers,Wall Street) have top much power the system becomes corrupt and GREED takes over.
BUSH TAX cuts on over 250K must go back up, soon as possible.
"WAR TAX" so that the RICH who have no skin in the WAR pay for this FOLLY.

Global solution to our costly health care mess, once again the Rich and money control who get life or death care:::

GET MONEY OUT of D.C. the corrupting influence is on VIEW and it does not look good.

i am all for people having a good life, but i really wonder how money can comfort you when most people don't even have their basic needs met. i would think you'd feel guilty and ashamed of the excess and greed.

I am from an immigrant family that came here believing in America. Now as we struggle to up take our family business, using the same principles that America stands for, it feels a if we were sold a dream. Here, in the midst of economical crisis we refuse to turn our back on the country that we believe in, but cannot help to feel disgusted and all the same discouraged by the people, the 1%, that has sadly failed on managing her and making her worthy of her name.

I've come to realize that in our world-wide image there is no mentioning of county, citizenship, patriotism, liberty and/or land. The words, money, capital, trade, war seem to resonate in the ears of so many. It is ever so evident that we are living by and for the benefit of these 1% so called 'administrators' of America. In other words instead of living through principle and democracy we work and are slaving ourselves for the greed of those who live in this land and yet fail to recognize her.

I write today in behalf of my family, in behalf of all Americans that live in this land advocating for change. True revolutionary change that will at last acknowledge the existence, importance and citizenship of the 99%, the true people.

    Believe in America!

My daughters college fund is missing, have you seen it? I understand  you had a similar problem a few years ago and the government came to your aid. Perhaps you’d like to help me understand how my daughter would go about receiving a “bail-out”.  Thank you for your consideration, B. Bayliss
