step out of your bubbles | 0
Dear Top One Per Centers, Please step out of your tiny, insulated bubble of short-term thinking for quarterly profits. Look around and discover what the impacts of your narrow-focused, "hard-nosed" decisions are: growing economic disparity and hardships for the rest of us, resulting in rage and despair. You realize that this is the way empires eventually crumble, don't you? Worse, short-term greed for profits is undermining the very air we breathe, water we drink and soil that grows our food - yours too! Not to mention destabilizing the Earth's climate. It will be very difficult to make a profit when there's no life left on Earth. Step out of your bubbles of skyscrapers, private jets and isolated mansions. Join us here on Earth. Join the effort to live from compassion and wisdom instead of greed and power. I know you will be much happier in your hearts and souls if you do. And so will the rest of us. Love, Rahima Rahima Warren Lafayette, CA 94549

" too big to fail" just defines corporate socialism. Free Enterrprise? Don't make me laugh, risk taking as long as it profits, run to the bought and sold politicians for protection when things don't go as planned. Your JANITOR'S are held to a higher standard of job performance and accountability than anyone in your boardroom, or upper management, whose just cruise along with ever bigger bonuses regardless of JOB performance. After all, there's always a convenient excuse for YOUR poor planning, bad judgment, and corporate mistakes. And no one to hold the likes of you accountable. Kenneth Gregg Eureka, CA 95503

The 1%ers should be in jail! You're not victims! We're the victims of your total psychopathy! Scumbags, pay your fair share in taxes. Johanna Klinsky Chicago, IL 60616

I imagine how difficult it would be to not take millions of dollars when you have the opportunity in front of you. How easy to believe "I am talented, bright and I deserve this", and to block out the suffering of others. I can only pray that the illusion of wealth stops blinding you. It is temporal, and in the overall picture, a trap that enslaves and consumes you. True riches are the love of family and friends, a healthy body and planet, creating and discovering the wonders around us, and being wise enough to know that material goods do not bring real security. I ask the divine power that created you to bless you with understanding, and the true riches of the heart. Anne Gareis 14201
