Living as well as you do, what do you make of it when so many of your compatriots have fallen over the line into poverty? This disparity is not a matter of individual success or failure. Just as your company's profits depend on a variety of government regulations, loopholes, and the like, so the well-being of the populace depends on government protection. I am calling on your sense of citizenship. I know you work hard for your money, but so do most people, including poor people. There must be some way in which we can integrate into our governmental process those elemental bonds of citizenship that implicate all of us in each other's economic well-being. I am a long time conservative who voted for Ronald Reagan twice over. I have had it with you bastards. My daughter and her husband lost a full one-third of their 401k in your stock market while those whom squandered their savings walked away with bonuses numbered in the millions of dollars. As a 73 year-old retired professional, I am proud of those young people who are now marching on Wall Street. You bastards have it coming and I hope and pray that you all wind up in jail.
