Your stockholders are part of the Wall Street Protest. They DON'T want you wasting their money on excessive executive salaries and so-called "go;lden parachutes," and they DO want you to pay your fair share of taxes and not leave the financial burden for running our country on their shoulders.

Greed has consumed you and your humanity likely does not exist, you are merely things....hardly human, will you redeem yourself and reject greed? It is likely that hard times are coming for everyone if greed is not rejected and humanity is reclaimed.

  • 1% don't deserve 100% | 0

I am a middle aged school teacher who works in an impoverished school district. It has been an uphill battle all of my life against those who have the best of everything:healthcare, nutrition, coaches, best schools, clothes, toys, etc. In my life time it has gotten so much more. Now the upper crust don't even act concerned.

Losing $10,000 in the Lehamn Brothers debacle hasn't helped my attitude nor seeing my children fall into debt just to receive an education. Shame on the 1%. We are ANGRY of personal and corporate greed.

I am a retired United Methodist Minister who has worked with the American Friends Service Committee 1970-1980, the Northern California Council of Churches 1980-1990, edited Sequoia: News of Church and World, and Earthlight: Magazine of Ecology and Spirituality 1990-2000. I completely agree with the focus of the Occupy Wall Street movement and participated in their event last week in San Rafael, Ca where I live. Bill McKibben speaks for me. 350.org and the Network of Spiritual Progressives speak for me. Our future as a nation depends on challenging corporations and the financial world. This is who they are really up against. Change now or face radical challenge. Paul Burks

    Dear CEO,
What is it about money and power that makes you crave it in absurd amounts? In many instances, what you get the 99% have lost. Perhaps you made much of your money be firing many of your employees and demanding more from those who remain. Has money and power become an addictive drug for you. You must have it regardless of the damage which obtaining it necessitates?

My story is not unusual...I am a widow with a VERY small pension and social
security to live on. While my income remains stagnant, yours soars. The
likelyhood of my income increasing is slim...yours however looks
limitless...not fair..worked hard all my life as a registered nurse. This
    needs to level out somehow.

I have "played by the rules" my whole life. I now have two children in
college who I have taught the same rules. They are two of the luckier ones
who have had many advantages in life. Yet I fear for their future as they go
out info the world saddled with the kind of debt I never expected them to
start their adult lives with. The opportunities for them to succeed are
severely limited now because of the shell game played by those more
interested in gambling with our dollars for their own benefit instead of
investing them for the benefit of all.

  • You have no honor. | 0

Your selfishness and greed is unbelievable. You have made yourselves rich at our expense. We are tired of bailing out Wall St. , Big Banking and Industries who do nothing in return for us but blame us for their stupid mistakes and intentionally hurt the country by not paying their share of taxes, poisoning the enviorment and taking jobs away to get more money to stuff in the banks. We should make you pay huge import taxes or get rid of the whole bunch of you ingrateful, self centered sociopathic greedy jerks. Maybe we will rise up and give you what you deserve, I know people have had it with the mess the 1% have made and people want you to be punished for it. You better hope they don't get a chance to repay your greed.

  • No pain, no gain. | 0

I have been serving the poor and the hospitalized in other countries and here in the US. My values are driven by the Gospels Message "to love your neighbor as yourself". "Who is my neighbor they asked?" When did you see me hungry and offered me clothing, naked and offered me clothes, in prison and visited me; that is your neighbor.

  • Hello, Friend! | 0

You'll feel good about being called that, someday. Right now, the paranoia, the greed, the heartlessness you're engaging in, it might look good, but it sure doesn't feel good. Ya'll are adrenaline junkies. There's a whole wide world out here, and guess what? We're family! When you open up your heart, and your wallet, you'll find that you have many more riches than you currently own. You will feel GOOD about helping your brothers and sisters. I know this may sound shocking to you, but there really IS enough for everyone! MORE than enough! Then you won't have to slink around and hide and protect, you can breathe the air and live. And we can too. In peace, harmony, abundance, education, innovation, creativity, liberty, freedom and joy. This may sound like Chinese to you now, but it won't someday, if you loosen up. THINK WITH YOUR HEART, FEEL WITH YOUR HEAD. WEAREALLONE. Hey, I'll even have you over for tea in my mansion, if you're not in jail!
