I hear you are the job creators! OK! Get to it! Where are all those jobs? And while you're at it, why shouldn't you pay more income tax? You're the ones with the income, right? Lindsay Mugglestone 94705

Occupy the Boardroom! | 0
We, the People, bailed you out because you were too big to fail. And you have repaid us with robo foreclosures, and extra charges for using ATM cards, and low interest rates, and high bonuses for yourselves, and so on.... I'm asking for a sense of social justice. Human need over corporate greed. Search your conscience. Theresa Ann Panica 11756
Why not help instead of being greedy | 0
Corporations achieved their great status and profit because of the 99% who brought their products. Of course the 99% help with the tax money to bail out some corporations which are a part of this problem, big bank in particular. They were suppose to give money to businesses to grow. That didn't happen especially with small businesses. CEO are in a class by themselves. Board members need to be responsible and curve their benefits and over payments. Why does the 99% who are without jobs, losing their homes and are standing in food bank line be the ones to continue to struggle while the 1% of the wealthy strive, thrive. They can and need to act responsibly and give more now during America's struggle to survive. Larry Hoyle Denver, CO 80212
I am the 99% | 0
I did everything I supposed to - I did well in school and earned a graduate degree. I got a good job. I bought a home within my means. I have good credit. Then, my son got sick. The health insurance offered by my company has very high premiums and co-pays. His medical bills are bankrupting my family. I haven't had a raise in 3 years because of the economy. My husband and I do not have fancy clothes or cars. We do not take vacations. We can barely afford our electricity now. I am the 99%. Joanna McGowan Wallingford, PA 10986

Your investment methods, resultant financial collapse and finally the bail-out has convinced me that time has come for a drastic change. This is not a left or right wing opinion. This is an American opinion. Change or be changed. Don Elder san diego, CA 92126
Underwater Mortgages | 0
I bought my house in 2005. Since then it has lost 1/3 of it's value and I owe more than it is worth. Because of that I cannot refinance to get the lower rates currently available, nor can I sell the house. I am trapped. We bailed out your fat butts when you were allegedly hurting and now maybe you could return the favor by writing down the debt on every underwater mortgage so we can escape from our prisons constructed by you. Yes -- that means you! Start thinking about how to promote more prosperity for ALL and you will probably (eventually -- try a little delayed gratification -- you were meant to have learned that as a 4-yr-old) become even more prosperous. Right now you are simply ruining the planet. Sincerely, Terry Carter a proud 99%er in Los Angeles Terry Carter Los Angeles, CA 90005
Go Galt! | 0
By god, you folks should just do it. Go Galt! These unruly ingrates of the Occupy movement just don't understand what a tough job you have. Why, who would run the computers? The Markets? The Commodity Desk? I say to you, with all of these rubes in such an uproarious mood, you should just do what the Masters of the Universe would do if the moochers and looters were making life difficult for innovators and job creators: Go Galt. Disappear. Just take your ball and go home. Let someone else try to make this all work. Please. Take my advice. I'm certain you're irreplaceable. You've said so yourselves. So, just go. And if you take this sage advice, know that this sentiment is from the heart: You. Will. Not. Be. Missed. Yours in truthiness, joeyess. joey ess 66212
A Message of Shift and Change | 0
Mine is not a message of us vs. you. Mine is a message of shift and change and a simple invitation for all of us to join in the paradigm shift. Things are shifting to a world of more fairness and equality. The paradigm is changing to one that embraces the whole. It is happening and we can either fight it or embrace it ... either way, it feels like change is coming. Michelle Radomski
Greed/Recklessness=Economic Treason! | 0
I'm 1st generation American. My parents saw that I had a good education. I earned a Doctorate! I am a retired Educator & Psychologist. I worked hard my entire life. I'm a Mother, Grandmother. My two grandsons serve our Nation in the USN & USMC. My husband wore the uniform of the USArmy. My relatives served in WW II & now Iraq. Teabaggers shout that I'm "un-American" because I'm a Democrat & support our President & OUR Government. We saved for retirement & now we have LOST HALF OUR SAVINGS because of corporate greed & right wing extremist politics, unfunded wars & manipulation of the media which has "brainwashed" the teabaggers into being your lap dogs! I want my Country back. I want fairness. I want my retirement back. Citizens United was UNJUST! I want Karl Rove, Koch brothers, Rush Limbaugh, Fox noise, ALEC, Dick Army, Scott Walker, Rick Scott to GO AWAY! They, NOT our President, are destroying our Democracy! You are guilty of destroying the heart & soul of our Nation, the Middle Class with your greed & excesses. Why? I earned Medicare & Social Security! What did the greedy hedge fund managers ever build, produce or earn? Nothing! And, the most terrible thing of all isw to be "crucifying the middle & working class in the name of Jesus Christ. I am appalled at the silence of religious leaders but your attack dogs have made them afraid too. YOU need to CHANGE so I can have HOPE again!!!!! Norine 34113
WE are all in this together | 0
Nothing trickles down, but a fat and happy middle class helps wealth float upward. Pay your taxes, and we will build a better nation where you can sell your products, and find well educated and healthy work force. The demand you pay your taxes! We demand now roads, new passenger rail network to move us around, better public schools and low or no cost universities, we demand a trade policy that keeps jobs and production here and an end of 'free trade', striking down of corporate personhood and we most of all demand an end to the 'pay to play' politics and there resulting corruption! There Is Something Afoot In The Land Of Our Forefathers | 0
There Is Something Afoot In The Land Of Our Forefathers I am quite simply outraged, by your unconscionable despicable practices that have systematically caused the financial downfall of our country. You have willingly set out to destroy the lives of so many with no thought whatsoever to those living in the aftermath of your greed ridden destruction, no thought about what it means to be homeless and in desperate need of the basics, food, clothing and shelter. What sickens me is knowing that you finance the campaigns of our politicians, because when they get elected they will turn a blind eye to your negligible practices that are destroying our planet: or they will ensure that a new bill is passed that will ensure that you can act in an environmentally unfriendly manner. What sickens me more is knowing that the highest court in our land has sealed the deal and by doing so, has proved it is a part of these corrupt practices We "Ninety-nine Percenters" were hood winked for a long time, that is not the case anymore, we have wised up to the culprits who are pulling the strings and maneuvering the chips on the board in their favor. The days of your reign are ending, we are about to clean house and in doing so we will wipe away generations of foul play and underhanded practices. Prepare yourself for a paradigm shift where love, compassion and generous hearts are the order of the day. Devon Grubb Philadelphia, PA 19152

Fascism will not fly in America. We will fight you to literally the last human being in this nation. We will fight you in ways you cannot imagine. We will fight for our civil liberties, we will fight for our physical freedoms and we will fight for the future generations. What you do not understand is this: you can oppress a people for only so long before they rise up and balance out the inequalities. Read your history, it always happens and the people always win. You have condemed yourselves by your own greed and lust for power, both of which are an illusion. We, The People, WILL win. Terrie Williams Vidor, TX 77662-6311
A Broken Social Contract Need to be Fixed | 0
No one begrudges wealth; only the crimes that are used to make some of it at the expense of so very many people, families, societies, countries, and life on earth. Ganden Thurman NY
Long term | 0
Thank you for giving a moment’s attention to my words. So many of our problems come from short-term thinking: The feedback cycles (bonuses, stock prices, fees, promotions...) are far too short. And, of course, externalities such as the well-being of the citizenry and continued health of the biosphere - which one can't deny dwarf stock prices and individual compensation in importance - are almost completely lacking from the calculations. Do you see why those of us who have only the power of a single citizen despair at how decisions are made in the enormously powerful corporations? Something is very, very wrong. Please stop and think. Really, what is important? Thank you, - Brian Hicks Brian Hicks Oakland, CA 94602

Unnecessary losses for middle-class | 0
Dear financial geniuses -- Plenty of profit could have been made without taking the world economy to the brink of disaster. And my pension savings with it. The loss of wealth for everyone but yourselves at our expense is untenable. Please stop congratulating yourselves on your sophistication. And please, stop whining about everyone else's naivete and ingratitude. P.S. You do not pay all the taxes. Sandra Blum 06824

If you don't help sustain American consumers by hiring people in America and making loans to small businesses and fixing Real Estate prices so that people can stay in their homes, there will be no one to buy your cheap imported goods. You are killing the Golden Goose. You must work to ensure there is a middle class that can consume your goods and services. James Lucas Winter Park, FL 32792
What happened to capitalism with a conscience?? | 0
From the spreading protests at Wall Street and throughout the US, it looks like Citizens United has finally truly united American citizens. Don't imagine this will go away. We will grow and grow and finally gain a voice that will be heard over the lobbyists in Congress. Prove that you are still human - start putting ethics back in banking to show that you can care about people as much as you care about profits. Kathryn Drinkard WA 98188
Occupy the Boardroom! | 0
To the Many Businesspeople Who Measure Their Success by the Profits They Generate: Profits are not the most important thing. Providing a good service that betters the lives of the people in your business community is the most important thing. Please measure your success this way. We are all connected and you will be richer when you care about those with whom you do business. When a bank makes a lot of money, where does that money come from? It is shaved, little by little, off of other peoples money. It's okay to shave off enough money to run your business and provide a good livelihood for yourself and your employees. But if shaving off as much as possible is your goal, it is not okay. You are not building or making anything. Don't use your power (namely having capital) to weaken or destroy others. Use your power to stregthen others and our economy and society will be stronger! valerie Massimi 11205
