Okay, you're going to ignore this one just like all the others. But how can you feel good about being responsible for this country becoming a wasteland? You've got power to do good. Use it. Be a mensch. Susan and John Richmond San Francisco, CA 94118

Your greed has ruined this country. Nice going. The USA has been overrated for too long, anyway! But how do you sleep at night, knowing how many lives you've destroyed as you rake in your profits? David Keaton 10524
Hi Mr. Blankfein! :) | 0
Hi Mr. Blankfein!! This is a fan letter I’m writing to you as a token of my appreciation for helping our overlords destroy the US economy! :D Livable wages are such a thing of the past. Why should people expect to have job availability when we can give you, the 1%, all of our hard-earned money? Surely, money that would have been used for rent or food could be more justly invested into a golden toilet. I salute thee Mr. Blankfein. Please continue your good work, and maybe one day you’ll get stuck in a room with someone like me who can *properly* thank you in person. Good Day :)
Listen to your hearts | 0
More money and power will not bring peace and happiness. What's life without those?! Open your hearts and minds to the joy you can find through simple gratitude and consideration for all those sharing this fragile, rare, life-filled planet with you!!! Cara Busch Cherrylog, GA 30522
You got us into this mess... | 0
You have to help get us out! I hold you, the bankers and investors, responsible for what has happened to our economy. You lent money for homes that cost more than people could afford, ignoring the facts regarding income in many cases, then you bundled them into "mortgage backed securities" and sold them as gold on the open market, dooming pension funds, investors and even whole countries. Now you are snatching away the homes of people like my mother-in-law after stringing her along for almost two years with a proposed mortgage refinance that suddenly disappeared. I hold you accountable because you are sitting on record profits and yet you are still fighting regulation and refusing to lend. How much corporate profit is the destruction of the American way of life and American dream worth to you? How much is enough? You are the reason we are moving our accounts from a major bank to a local credit union and we will never return. I am voting with my wallet and at the ballot and you can not hide anymore. Dear Bankers: | 0
In a sane, if somewhat less civilized world, you would have been dragged from your offices, gutted alive, and strung up from the nearest lamp post back in 2008. But since we're basically nice people, who just want a little justice, how about we agree that you'll support sweeping legislation that completely reforms the banking and investment sectors, as well as transaction fees, prohibitions against awarding bonuses for making risky ventures that are likely to blow up in your face, as well as a return to doing what banks are supposed to do, which is make loans to businesses and individuals. You know, things that actually help people and grow the economy. Old fashioned, I know, but maybe it's worth a try. Mark Kanicki 76904

Dear Wall Street People,
I am very concerned with current economic attitudes. It is not the job of our country to keep your organization and businesses operating. We need jobs and businesses that actually help to solve our problems, not make them worse. We need decentralized sources of energy, not more oil.
The bottom line is, the more our resources are squandered, the more earth's natural ecosystems and habitats are degraded or destroyed, the more our wild creatures and harmed, the poorer we all become. Money is NOT the bottom line. A healthy earth with healthy populations of humans and all creatures is what matters. The 'Midas Touch' was a curse, not a blessing.

For too long I have put up with what I've known in my heart to be wrong. Well, no longer will I seat in my couch watching your mesmerizing lies on TV. A tsunami is coming and your better get on high ground. When your money is worth nothing and your world has flipped upside down; We The People will be ready make a new tomorrow. A tomorrow not motivated by your greed, your lies and your craving for more and more and more. I will endeavor to bring about a more just, kind and peaceful society. Were the rights of your greed don't trample over the rights of other human beings. I DEMAND THAT CORPORATIONS CHANGE THEIR WAYS AND STOP MEDDLING IN THE PEOPLE'S POLITICS! J. How in the world can you justify not giving a mortgage to a young couple who together make over 100k a year and place 20% down and ask for a 150k loan? The TRUE REVOLUTION has begun! SIlvio 06040
Your profit is also your loss | 0
Dear Executives, My name is Yana Walton, and I've dedicated my career to public service, trying to improve the lives of lesbian, gay, and transgender Americans, as well as that of low wage workers in our country. But because the nonprofit organizations I've worked for have suffered so much due to the irresponsible and greedy financial practices on your parts, I've been laid off 3 times in the last four years due to organizations' economic struggles. But you're paying for my unemployment benefits again - Along with the millions of other Americans in my predicament who have only tried to give back, instead of take. Shame on you for profiting from our losses - But they will ultimately be your loss as well. Sincerely, Yana Walton S Yana 11238
I always knew | 0
My B of A mortgage associate never did anything in writing. She was so friendly. She was like my best friend. She locked in a good rate. It was all taken care of. Then she never returned calls. She lied about having taken necessary steps toward closing. After I caught her in lies and she finally picked up a phone call, she said, “oh I’m so busy” and “its all taken care of” Then she disappeared again. Another mortgage associate stepped in for her. But he said I must have imagined the locked in interest rate, since that was never available. I was faced with a deadline and took the B of A mortgage. That was in 2008. Now that I am trying to re-finance with a lower rate, no one from B of A can return a call or an email. I guess they are still so “busy.” I always thought B of A was made of sleazebags. I still do.
Still Hanging in There | 0
Hi, I just want you to know that I’m still hanging in there, and want you to know how grateful I am that you are servicing my home loan. I know my hard-earned money - and with a 10% salary reduction at the beginning of the year it’s even more hard - is helping to keep you immensely profitable. Of course, you realize that this is at the expense of my local business community. A, but what the heck, who needs a local business community any way. We’ve got a bank to run!

There is nothing wrong with HONEST trade, and HONEST business, and making a living and working while you have health and for sustenance, and a decent life. But any people who control 1% of the wealth in this country are doing evil. So, I am letting you know—as one of the 99%, that HUMAN AND ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE ARE INSEPARABLE. Your greed, selfishness, shortsightedness, sense of entitlement, and yes, stupidity—for none are so blind who have eyes and will not see—are responsible for ENORMOUS EVIL being done in this world today. Mitakuye oyasin—we are all related in one inextricable web of life, and you who are destroying that web will perish along with the rest of us—the animal (and we are all animals) who destroys his/her habitat, dies along with it. You have NO right to do this to four billion years of evolution of life on this planet. You have no right to do this to life and all its innocence. Read Lester Brown’s “Plan B 4.0.” Read Jared Diamond’s “Collapse” (of which Easter Is. is the microcosm of what YOU are doing to this Earth today). Read James Hansen’s “Storms of My Grandchildren.” And remember Rachel Carson’s “The Sea Around Us”? SHAME ON YOU! “When all the trees have been cut down, when all the animals have been hunted, when all the waters are polluted, when all the air is unsafe to breathe, only then will you discover you cannot eat money.” (—Cree Prophecy) ”Every twenty minutes a species goes extinct” (—Conservation International, June 2011) “Never, never be afraid to do what’s right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society’s punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way.” ( —Martin Luther King, Jr.) “But ask now the animals, and they shall teach you; and the birds of the sky, they will tell you. Or speak to the earth and it will teach you; and the fishes of the sea shall inform you.” (—Job 12:7-8)
Debit Card | 0
I am not a radical or a hippie, but i want to say shame on you for your greed, I have worked w/o a pay raise for 5 yrs. My bills go up, my taxes go up, and yet I pay them on time and have no debt other than a mortgage. Now my home is worth less than what I owe and my investments have been robbed by Wall Street while Wells Fargo was taking over my bank, expanding beyond what it could afford, and now you want me to pay for for your moneylust by putting a fee on my debit card? Shame on you for your greed.
Dear Board Member, Do Your Job Please | 0
Dear Member of the Board of Bank of AmericaBy now you are surely aware of the public outreach campaign encouraging 99% of the population to communicate with “the 1%” of whom you are a member. As such a large group, the 99% have a whole host of grievances with you guys (and gals). While I’m sure you may find some of this outrage silly and misdirected, let me assure you that we are not confused.Today I would like to talk with you about Bank of America’s presence in New York City, specifically Manhattan. Based on your website it appears Bank of America has somewhere between 45-50 full service branches in Manhattan. As we all know Manhattan rents are very high, especially in prime, high profile locations like Grand Central Station and corner retail space. By my math, a conservative estimate puts the total monthly rent for your Manhattan branches at somewhere around $1,400,000 per MONTH. This figure does not include wages, insurance or any other overhead. I am confident that this figure is low; could you please provide the correct amount? While you’re at it, could you also please explain where this money really comes from? Also, how do you reconcile this gross expense with your stock price, which is in the toilet. Finally, how you in good conscience justify paying such an obscene amount to rent retail space while at the same time ruthlessly evicting thousands of people from their homes?Next time we chat, let’s talk about the $1 BILLION DOLLAR glass palace you built on 42nd Street. I walked by it the other day, it sure is pretty but I couldn’t help wondering how many middle-class homes could have been saved if you had focused less on your own brand and ego and more on your customers, who happen to be real human beings.I know being on the board isn’t all is cracked up to be, maybe you should consider resigning.Cordially yours,
closing my account on monday morning | 0
Dear Heidi, after seeing the video of customers being arrested while trying to close their accounts, I have decided that I can no longer do business with your bank. Now that I have learned that your bank has also been funding the violence in New York and donating money to the police, I will be closing my account and moving my money to a credit union. I would like your assurance that I will not be arrested for closing my account. have a nice day!

If I were a rich man... | 0
I would never be satisfied. I would be consumed by consumerism. There would be no end in sight to fulfilling my needs, despite the fact that I would "want" for nothing. I would continue to try to fill the huge hole in my soul with material things, power, and fame. I would completely miss all of the riches of life, all of the power of nature and its creator, all of the tranquility of the life of an "average" person. I would lose the opportunity to be content with what I have. Wait? What was that? ... "to be content with what I have". Is that what contentment means? Could it truly be possible that contentment -- not laziness, not numbness, not boredom, but contentment -- really is possible? It is possible within a simple life full of thankfulness, not greed or ambition. It is in this simple, thankful life where we see every day magic and feel secure in the knowledge that our needs will always be taken care of because we are loved. Jessica Rossiter IN 46016
Do you have enough yet??? | 1
There are not very many people left who can afford to buy what has made you rich. Please think about the well being of our planet, and all the people on it. Such ideas as profit sharing and cooperative business ethics are the wave of the future. Why not help to set the trend towards eliminating the extremes of wealth and poverty in our world? You will sleep better at night and your soul will begin to awaken when you become one the 1% who gives back. Valerie Ruth Young-Williams Seldovia, AK 99663
Stop consuming our nation! | 1
As an individual who works with low-income homes, I am shocked at the mean spirited way that the 1% has targeted the poor for service cuts, cuts to food programs, medicaid, etc. Shame on you for taking food from poor children so you can stuff your own, taking education away from the poor to enhance the power of your own families and for destroying the environment, killing off the remaining endangered ones and treating the world as your personal land. May you be toppled. Democracy is not upheld by the masses supporting the filthy rich while our own kids go hungry. Ruth Steinberger Ruth Steinberger Bristow, OK 74010
