We need capital available to small businesses, and you need make it more available. The bailout was not a one way street and you have generated a great deal of appropriate resentment. Joseph Lawson 10023-6635
In forced retirment with the current spike in the economy the cost of all foods are at thier highest ever. With limited buying power caused by this spike one is forced to pay 2.85 for a simple loaf of bread. Tomatoes at 3.00 a pound and a one pound tomatoe it is. a gallon of milk for 2.98. Gasoline at 3.55 a gallon. Not a pretty picture when you are on the bottom jus hanging on. The great middle class slides down some more thank to your care. David Fairbrother 33637-6441

Because of your illegal and corrupt actions which crashed our economy, I lost my retail store in 2009 and am now trying to make a living from on online site. I get no paycheck and we have had to go into Debt Resolution to try and manage our debt. We are now getting food from Food Banks, as we don't make enough of an income to pay our bills AND buy food. Hope you are enjoying your bail-out funds and your big bonus checks. Bitter & Broke in N.J. Dianne Jakowiczuk 08026

dear julie, just wanted to say “thanks!” for a friend of mine a few years back. it was neat how there was no one available to answer her calls and emails saying she was unemployed and might need a reduced payment option on her wells fargo student loan for a short period of time. it was also COOL to be court-ordered to make a monthly payment, although you could have saved yourselves the trouble of taking her back to court for one month’s “nonpayment” (i.e., 9 payments in 9 months, 0 payments in 1 month, 2 payments in the next month), although you could have saved yourselves the trouble by providing a concrete payment due date. i enjoyed talking with the nice people who called from your internal collections department, claiming it was not their obligation to disclose to the borrower the payment history and remaining principal balance due on the loan. anyway, thought you’d want to know that she & i are closer than ever since i took out a government-backed student loan to pay off the predatory one from you all. yours, jen

If you’re looking for a charity, I wouldn’t mind stepping up to the plate and being one of the people you support. I will have to pay tuition and a half next semester and that’s A LOT of money that I don’t have…and since your bank kinda sucks A LOT, I don’t really want to take out a loan. Normally I wouldn’t be so concerned about paying debt back but with the job market as it is, I’m afraid I’ll just end up defaulting. Help me out. Help US out. Don’t be a dick.Always,Rachel
