survival for retirees | 0
In 2008-2009 we lost about 20% of our retirement funds which we worked for all our lives and rely on for the rest of our lives. We are lucky to still be afloat financially, but cuts to Medicare or Social Security would put our lives in jeopardy. And we are well-educated, middle-class citizens! What will happen to those less fortunate than we are? Have you no empathy? no shame? no comprehension of how the rest of us live? Each of you should be required to live for one month each year like the rest of us do, to get some idea of the consequences of your actions. Sandra L. Herndon 98584
Nasty Practice Against Common Folk! | 0
I have dealt with you all in various ways, and all of which have been nasty, dehumanizing, and your actions have been cruel. In each case you have abused me given your business practices targeting the poor and trying to destroy the Middle Class in America. You have sent our jobs overseas, fire us, you make politicians pay for a outrageous media complex owned by you, and expect bail outs and HUGE obscene BONUSES as you fire us and kick families to the street. You offer no decent loans to individuals and those that bailed you out yet keep a war chest of money you could easily use to ease the ailments that your lousy business practices have cause. You are the very DEFINITION of EVIL, amoral, and how you influenced the laws to make a corporation a person - this is beyond belief. We get what you are doing, usury laws made invalid by using Delaware or a place where these laws do not stick, then you stick it to us! I, WE, HAVE GROWN TO HATE YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR AMORAL ACTIONS! You could help but are too greedy to do anything to help a society that has been very good to you. Bruce Mathews 19148-1631

after 29.6 yrs w/at&t i was fired over having chronic hepatitus b & narcolepsy 6 months shy of 30 & out retirement. after 7 months w/union support i did finally win my pension but every year they try to take it back away. i am in forclosure on my home of 25 yrs & in bankruptcy due to the 7 month payless fight & medical co-pay costs. our gov't bails out those who need it least & even w/union representation corporate america is as crooked as ever. they won't tax private jets or country club membership fees but want to take more of my pension & tax ME MORE & cut my social security i paid into 36 yrs & my medicare (which i was forced to go on too)??? i'm better off dead & it appears that's what big biz & my gov't wants. scott romano 48073
not going away | 0
i was laid off in 2008 and unemployed for 2 years. i stopped going out to eat , gave up my gym, sold some furniture, cancelled my health insurance and finally had to give up my apartment. i now rent a room in a house with others. i ended up selling most of my remaining furniture and tv etc. this past year. while banks were handed millions, i was asked to pay taxes on the unemployment benefits that did not even cover the cost of living. now i work two part-time jobs and am still under-employed and without health insurance. there are millions in the u.s. with a similar story and much worse. all of those who, like me, have been touched and awakened by hardship are the 99%. this is not a fleeting rally, this is a movement - a mass action that will spur a more enlightened and evolved new system into being. we are not going away. karen goodman 94705

I have a business account with your bank. My own money is in the account yet you charge my customers $5.00 when they bring in my check to cash from my account. This should be illegal. Andrea Drinard 97214
