  • The 98% are speaking | 0

I am part of the 98% of Americans that are fed up with the kind of business practices you employ. Are you not rich enough? Do you want every penny the rest of us still have. Some of you allowed this to happen. In my book that is gross neglect. Some of you deserve to be brought up on charges tried and sent to prison for what you did and allowed to happen. We can not allow you to act this way any longer. Watch out. This is not a threat but a promise from the 98%. Alan Johnson

  • our world | 0

Your days are numbered, you who crashed the economies around the world and kept more for yourselves than the whole world needs. Greed is doing you in. Corporate welfare is coming down, so are tax breaks, havens, loopholes, all your selfish thoughtless scummy scams are bringing you down. Change your ways. The whole world is watching. Protect our natural world. It's all we have. This is paradise - we ARE in heaven. Re-group. Re-think. Let go of your paranoid grip on insanity. This could be world war three for you. We want to live modestly, without giving most of it to the monied entities that wrecked the world economy. Alternative energy is now. Stop the war profiteering, bring the troops home and put them to work in this sector. Those are some of the grievances of the Occupiers, of whom I am one.

  • Citi-Bank car loan | 0

Several years ago I messed up on a car loan. I did try to rectify the situation by making smaller payments and got thwarted at every turn. There was no empathy; they acted as if my measly $2,000 owed was going to crash the system.

I will never get involved with a car loan again, thanks to the lack of compassion at Citi-Bank. I'd rather drive a clunker.

  • Change slogan and hold Wall Street accountable! | 0

Wall Street must stop blaming 'the government' for the lax mortgage loan debacle they subsequently initiated, resulting in the real estate
    crash of 2007-2009.
Granted, the Feds encouraged banks to 'ease up' on mortgages, but that didn't mean the banks should blatantly ignore basic loan qualification requirements like verifying income and waiving all down payment minimums! On top of that, the banks, and investment firms, quickly saw an opportunity to package these bogus loans into
multi-million dollar bonanzas! These failures in basic business judgment AND ethical behavior are the practices that Wall Street and the banks now must now be held accountable for. Far too many lives have been destroyed, many that will never be recoverable. Such a tragedy cannot go without consequences, up to the highest corporate level.

  • Greed is not an American Virtue | 0

I want Wall Street to develop some ethics. They ripped us off, took our bailout $, and changed nothing. Winston Churchill once said, "the aristrocracy are the glittering skum which float upon the deep river of productivity." They are not productive because they live a derivative life; consequently they do not deserve what they receive. They need to learn some reality and develop some ethics.

i volunteer at an umbrella agency that helps poor people get food, housing subsidies, and fuel assistance.
This fall, the place is full of "middle-class", unemployed families, not just victims of multi-generational poverty. Women are dressed like professionals, but they're sitting in line waiting for help from the food shelf to feed their children.
Healthy, strong-looking men are standing around hoping to get tips about possible jobs, fuel assistance, etc., or have no place else to go, to feel like their trying to do something for their families. This is your fault---no need to pretend otherwise.

  • The Sleeper has awakened! | 0

Today, the other 98%, are making our voices heard directly to you, the Wall Street elites who wrecked the economy and made the rest of us pay. Listen closely and do not dismiss this uprising of the American people as insignificant, the British elite made the same mistake. Your rempant greed will no longer go unchecked. The American people refuse to be your beasts of burden. You will be held accountable for your actions.

We live in two different worlds. I earn money with my back and with my sweat. You earn fantastic amounts of money with tricks. Those tricks of yours gutted my pension fund and paid for the foreign registration on your yacht. You paid for and own our government and have taken it away from the people. Greed can't possibly make you happy.

  • You have almost completed the destruction of America. SHAME! | 0

    Gentlemen,

As the WS Occupiers often shout: SHAME!

Your values are DEEPLY CORUPT and you don't even realize it. SHAME! Please wake up.

Your ultra leverage unproductive manipulations destroyed my consulting business in the crash of 2008. SHAME!

Ever heard of the Pecora hearings in the early 1930s? Similar investigations are coming soon. Wake up.

Your appetite for risk at the expense of your clients and the US taxpayers is clearly criminal. YOU WILL PAY, either here, or in Hell! SHAME!
