What the world will be like... | 0
There is a Cree Indian Prophecy that says in some fashion or another: Only after the last tree is cut down, the last river has been poisoned, the last fish has been caught, only then will you realize that you cannot eat money. You are truly living in your own world, and will not acknowledge the path you are walking down. You with your ridiculous salaries and bonuses, inflated egos and general belief that you are untouchable. You who do not care what you are leaving to our children and their children. You who are only concerned with how much more money you can make for you and your cronies. You who only focus on how you would be impacted. You who have overpaid attorneys to find loopholes for everything under the sun. You who give tax-payer buyout money to yourselves as bonuses. You are the cause of the worldwide economic calamity we face. Your belief that you are above everyone else is repulsive. Only when you lose everything--your houses, your businesses, your families, your health--will you realize what you have done. Your money, homes, cars, boats, jewelry, stocks and bonds, all of your material possessions are meaningless. They do not go with you when you depart this world. So what are you trying to accomplish? Who is left to buy your products/services when the middle class is eliminated? The lower class struggle every day just for the basic necessities of life, yet you sit in your overstuffed leather chairs, on your corporate jets, in your limos and every other indulgence you can imagine. So, I ask you: what are you going to do about this situation which you have created? My bet is that you will continue to ignore it because, as I said before, you cannot possibly be affected by anything that affects most of us, right? Sure, keep on living in denial. When the economy completely collapses, you'll only have yourselves to blame. And when that happens, what will your money be worth anyway? You have created this problem. Go find a solution. A solution that doesn't involve any form of "what is in it for me?" Dawn Williams 27529
Teacher Pensions | 0
After making contributions to the Illinois Teachers Retirement System for 35 years, my pension is being threatened by The Civic Committee of Chicago whose members include the Mayor Rahm Emmanuel, Bank of America CEO, CEOs from Abbott Labs, Nuveen,Ernst & Young, Leo Burnett, American Airlines, and others. Although my pension is guaranteed by the state constitution, these monsters have consipired with the legislature to write legislation to rewrite the pension rules so the state doesn't have to make payments or increase taxes--that means money would be diverted froim the pension fund to privately managed 401(k) funds which could then be pirated into huge commissions and then gambled with by investment companies represented by Civic Committee members.Think there might be some collusion and questionable ethics here when a wealthy group dictates legislation to elected officials? Losing Everything | 0
My husband and I are 60 and 58 years old. In the next year we will be on the way to losing everything we have. My husband is sole proprietor of his home based structural engineering business. We have only had a small handful of work in the last 3 years. We were not well off to start with. Now most of our savings are gone and our home of 17 years is in serious need of repair. We couldn't help our 19 year old son with college; he is mowing lawns. We have never gotten any kind of assistance, although soon we will be going to the food bank. Where do people go when the money is gone? When the house is gone? When the almost 30 year old cars won't run anymore?
The Occupy is all about you! Hang on you're in for a bumpy ride!

Return my money | 0
Hi Wall Street, members of the board of Goldman-Sachs, etc., I would appreciate having my student loans bailed out. I believe that if the amount of bail-out/stimulus revenues given to the 1% of banks and lending institutions which have caused this current economic downturn, and have made off with my govt./society's money, roughly 14 trillion dollars by some estimates, when split up between all Americans, including your sick and bloated parasitic existences, my share comes to about 40 thousand dollars. This is enough for me to pay off my loans, and allows me to put a small down payment on a house. I want my money! Sincerely, John Cuda John Cuda pittsburgh, PA 15221
GREED | 0
Your Action Content;
The consequences of the depth of greed in corporate America, led by the greedy cancerous manipulations of OUR corporate banks has made big pay day's for the 1% of Americans. You steal people's hope, and have lead the way for destruction of faith- but God is not something the elite will be able to continue as it has stood for 2000yrs, God according to Man is why humanity is in the 'uncontained' mess that makes it okay for 1 in 6 Americans to go hungry in what once was the greatest nation (at the time) on Earth. I love history, and just a little reflection on the Roman Empire, and it seems like the world is Rome; To distract the people from the truth they used colliseums and a vivid imagination for even more cruelty; we're not quite there yet, but we have Ultimate fighting, entertainment video's for the young are full of violence, rape, and stop and reflect and "our" created darkness is all incompassing- and will soon be brought to a head. I wonder if God takes Visa for forgiveness, because physical life is short, and hard for many. At least many are starting to recognize The TRUTH, and want peace & love, something neither banks or credit cards can purchase, nor can anything of man take the place of Love. So, I pray for light, love and truth, and am grateful to know less is more, and happy to see humanity seem to start waking up, and that has 1% of you even more hateful, selfish, and were it not for HATE, that 1% would just be rich and empty. But it seems that those that have will do ANYTHING to keep things the way they are, even when it is clear that the patient is no longer chronically ill, it's terminal. There is change in the air, and it is not the kind the 1% can make go away, or corrupt too, and that's got to be unnerving for them, to say the least.

As a stockholder I strongly object to your wasting money that belongs to me -- money misspent in political contributions, excessively high executive salaries that are not based on our company's earned profits, golden parachutes for CEO's who brought their companies to financial failure, and the cost to me as a taxpayer for cleaning up environmentally polluting chemicals and oils (pollution which you indirectly supported by supporting the emasculation of the EPA). You are forcing me to introduce guidelines for how you spend my money at the next annual stockholders' meeting. Robert Shorin 11791-2426
Why | 0
When a rich man or woman is not happy, the only satisfaction seems to be to collect more money/things/power. They remind me of sexual predators who can only orgasm if the act is perverted or in some form or another socially wrong. The victims of such power and greed from the 1% of Americans are fed up. The message to these predators is this: We know you can't seem to get enough, but consider yourself Busted: We are the 99 % of Americans. We don't appreciate being pimped, socially raped and financially abused. We are no longer your slaves. Cherry Thorne 76542

I am the 99% | 0
It can be very frustrating being a part of the 99% as money is the root on moving on up. I currently owe lots of money on my student loans. I will be graduating this up coming May and I fear I won't be able to find employment. Even though I will be receiving my Master's Degree it's not always a guarantee a job will be waiting for me. I am also very frustrated about the fees for my credit cards and debt cards. As a struggling student I ask for your help to get us all the ability to stand on our feet financially. Sincerely, Laura Espada Laura Espada 10603
Lost retirement money | 0
So, while you are making money and getting raises, my retirement fund has tanked because of Wall Street. The housing crisis reduced the value of my house so that I had to sell it in a short sale because I was moving to help my aging mother. My credit isn't as good as it once was and life doesn't seem like it will get back to what it was at one time. I taught school for 27 years (Special Ed) and really don't like being ignored by the upper 2% or so. Tell me, when is the greed going to be enough? Julie Willis 49431
we have a message for u | 1
Life sure is tough for those at the top and it must get awful lonely. So we thought to ourselves...what could we do so they don't feel so alone? So they know there's somebody out there thinking of them? And then it struck us. Maybe they could use some pen pals. Well, today is their lucky day! Today, you, the other 98%, can make your voice heard directly to the Wall Street elites who wrecked the economy and made the rest of us pay. Fill out the form below with whatever story best describes your grievance with the bankers who have acted for years like your stories donít matter. Your message will be emailed to the top executives and board members of all the major banks and published to a webpage where you can share your stories with the other hundreds of thousands of Americans who are participating in this action today. Feel free to say whatever you feel most strongly about. Because today, they will have to listen. dogan ozkan 99701

BanK of America wants to seduce me into debt | 0
I am 76, and I have no debt. I have a credit card with Bank of America. Twice each month they send me six blank checks, urging me to take advantage of fabulous low interest offers, which will jack-knife out into huge interest rates at the end of a certain period. They want me in debt. Debt is a Weapon of Mass Destruction. Thieving Bums! Edward Maupin 92103
Occupy Denver | 0
As a child, I marched against the war in Viet Nam. Now retired, I decided to walk a couple of miles in the shoes of our Occupy Denver folks. Yes, at first, it had a certain post-apocalyptic feel to it. Then a flag-toting, conservative looking older woman insisted upon snapping my photo and one of her in her home-made 99% t-shirt. Then another one stopped in the middle of traffic and begged me to take 2-dozzen muffins for the "kids in the tents." Many passers-by asked me about the Koch Brothers and each one thanked me for speaking up for them, before they rushed back to work. In my view, many politicians who are hoping to ignore or suppress the rising tide of these obviously sincere, almost desperate cries for change, are about to make the same mistake that their forbearers made in the 1960’s. Wall Steet Takeover | 0
To All Bankers and Investers involved in the meltdown This is just the beginning of what is to come! We have had enough of your arrogance and greed. It may seem that you are untouchable but there are many legal ways of making your lives as miserable as you have made many American's lives. The Tea Party may not be the answer, however, it is a start. I guarantee that there will not be another bailout even though the effects might be significantly worse. The day has come to stand our ground! Richard 49048

Speculation | 0
To whom it may concern, The horror of your financial speculation is the end result of the recession you have made. As with all inveterate gamblers, when there is no where else to hide, they are in a state of high denial and blame everyone else. Your system is the face of addiction that has refused to paralyze the other 98% of the American population. I doubt that you will hear this plea, but we will not stop until regulations, balance and fair play once again are seen. Those will be your intervention. Idid not think I would live to see another market driven depression, but you managed it throu you greed and moral bankruptcy. Liz Larkin Elizabeth Larkin 85250-6811
