Poverty and Injustice | 6
There is a small boy living with his grandmother near where I live. He is slight and appears undernourished. I found out that he in fact does not get enough to eat. This is happening in the EXCEPTIONAL UNITED STATES. There are always poor people but we are in far worse shape than we have experienced in many decades. Largely thanks to you. Unfortunately there are millions of Americans in some sort of despair because of your greed and immorality. You have no feeling at all for other people; empathy free. Yet you probably claim some religion as yours. Add to the list of your attitudes, hypocrisy. Patsy 93065
I financed my house with a free appraisal from a BofA broker | 3
To: Joe L Price, Bank of America
I thought the house was too expensive, but I trusted that since the appraiser, the inspector, and the mortgage broker all said that this was the new market and I was making a good investment I would be OK. Now I owe 105k on a house worth 67k. It turns out my inspector didn't do a good job. The tiles started falling off the wall in the bathrooms within a year. Numerous other problems have cropped up. My insurance for health, home, and car have all increased dramatically. I've had a pay cut since I'm a Florida teacher. I called BofA for help and was told I had to default to get help. Now I've defaulted. This will be month three I haven't paid. Will you split the difference and reduce my principal to 60k since I now know I need 20k in renovations? Or will you throw my wife and two kids out into the street? Time will tell. I hope you have a heart and will share my loss and restore my trust in the American Dream.

Dear Mr. David C. Darnell: Seriously? A 6.2 BILLION dollar profit... And you’re adding a monthly debit card fee because you say you need to make up the cash that you’re losing due to federal regulations??? REALLY????????? I closed my B of A checking and savings accounts two weeks ago and am encouraging everyone I know to do the same. Rachel Bjerke

Hi Lloyd, Do you have a mirror? Please take a good look at yourself. Why can't you stop your organization from financial foul-play? Please think, whats the fun of heading a gigantic corp that needs bailout every-year! Why ride the lame elephant? Cure the elephant and enjoy the ride.
What are you doing to help | 2
To: Brian T Moynihan, Bank of America
Brian -- You must be a highly intelligent person who has earned such a lofty position at a very successful company. Our country and world economy are failing ... have failed. We need the best of the best to fix things and turn them around. What are you doing to help?

Dear Susan, I'm a retiree from San Francisco, living in the Caribbean. As such I have few complaints about my own life. But I'm in terror of the world we're leaving to our children. Our economic priorities are centered on making a quarterly profit. We've surrendered our political system to corporate ideals instead of human ones. Because we've ignored the scientists on climate change, the prospects for the planet are not even predictable now- just scary. As a responsible and successful woman, you know what to do. Take time from your schedule to pay attention to the rest of the world. Please.Dear Judith, I'm a retiree from San Francisco, living in the Caribbean. As such I have few complaints about my own life. BITING ON THE HANDS THAT FEED YOU | 1
To whom ever is concerned, those of you who believe that you are above the law and above the rest of us. You may have most of the money, you may control our government, you may think that you own all the homes on earth, but you will never own the spirit of the human population. Homes are being foreclosed upon with forgeries and fraudulent documentations. the Trusts are bogus, the affiants are fake, and your lawyers are puppets. You messed up the economy for reasons I am sure you alone is aware of, you have an agenda and it's becoming clear. You threw families out on the streets, those families have supported your bad habits by buying your products, paying fees and more fees, for keeping their own money in your bank branches. Without those people, you are nothing. You banked on them for years and you will be begging them to come back, and they won't. You have created a monster called greed, and in turn you created and used it to take away what belongs to some body else. What you did was created something bigger than yourselves and your greedy system. You created us, we are holding it together, we are learning all about your scams and schemes, we will beat you at your game. Yes you bit the hands that fed you with their hard earned Dollars, and now they are taking their Dollars elsewhere. YOu brought your wreath upon us, and now you have to lay in it for many years to come. You created hatred for your kind, and resentments for your strategies. You can lie, cheat, take abuse and destroy, we will build, renew, regain, grow stronger and smarter. Yes you created a monster, and that monster is growing into a huge massive amount of human voice, standing together, uniting together, moving forward making changes and wising up. We will get our homes back and we will keep our strength to fight you off with our strategies. And we will survive and you will not break what we cherish most, our spirits! I worked hard all my life, kept my credit clean and could go anywhere and get a credit card. Had a salary of $100,000.00/yr until the construction industry tanked. Tried to hold my head high and struggle though it, use my savings (this economy had to get better, we just bailed out wall street), I took another salary cut, hey losing $60,000/yr wasn't the end of the world. But, not getting help from you after all you is. I can't possibly at my age start over again, I don't have enough time. I'm not bitter, I'm over being angry at who is to blame. For I believe that as GOD has granted me two true miracles in my lifetime, you will have to someday stand before him. THAT WILL BE YOUR JUDGEMENT DAY!
Hi Joe | 8
To: Joe L Price, Bank of America
It's about time we get an opportunity to talk. It has been difficult for me to understand the language of the new employees of Bank of America. I wanted to let you know how disappointed I am with the "home loan modification" scam. I find it funny that I wasn't even behind on my mortgage payments when I was offered the $500 per month discount on my house for 4 months. The 4 months came and went and finally at 8 months, all paid on time, I was denied my modification. Next, I received an immediate "pay up" bill of over $4000. I found myself on a train wreck heading toward foreclosure and trying to figure out how I got there. Shortly thereafter, I realized this house was a bad business decision and I decided to let history take its course. I think I will save my money and pick up a foreclosure for cash in a nearby neighborhood. It is easier to save when I am not slaving away (paying my mortgage) for you.

The Banks would have us believe that the “problem” is just with subprime mortgages. They like to do that because they figure people will have less sympathy and even some anger toward deadbeats who took out mortgages they couldn’t afford. First most of the mortgages affected by the various antics of the Banks —ROBO-signing, SURROGATE signing, FORGERY, FABRICATION of Docs and FRAUD, are NOT subprime mortgages. Second, NOBODY who misses a payment for any reason is a DEADBEAT. When a company misses a payment it is called a DISTRESS borrower and it is followed by a workout even when there are investor lenders in the mix. I know, I went to a seminar for lawyers that was ONLY about workouts for real estate foreclosures and the new requirements for TILA and RESPA. But that only seems to apply when you borrow millions instead of hundreds of thousands. Third, nobody is hurt by helping people in distress. Somehow American generosity of spirit and ideology has been turned on its head by these banks who call themselves banks when in fact all they really are is marketing organizations more closely resembling MLM (multilevel marketing) Ponzi Schemes or pyramids than any financial institution I knew when I was growing up. They don’t use the basic principles of accounting, finance or economics to make, receive or process loans or deposits. Contrary to the implied injury to “honest” Americans who pay their bills (however misguided they might be as to whom they direct their payments), helping distressed homeowners — or all homeowners for that matter — simply makes sense. I thought we could do lunch! | 22
To: Debora Spar, Goldman Sachs
Of course I know that you are used to finer lunches than I am...school teachers have to bring a sandwich made with whatever was on sale. I'd love to share! Seriously, I have been thinking a lot about your compensation. I understand that being able to manipulate and understand money is a special skill set. So, my question is, why haven't you used those skills for something you wouldn't have to be ashamed of? Instead of dreaming up things like "derivatives" you could have been putting together the financing for - clinics! green technologies! environmental restoration! medical research! Instead, you have used your abilities to hurt and to harm other Americans. On second thought, I would not want to share my sandwich with you. I really, really would not want to know you. I'm a recent college student with a $40,000 student loan. I'm 25 and I moved to New York to pursue my dream of working for a non-profit organization. I'm on a tight budget so it hurts me severely when I have to pay a monthly bank fee when using your bank. I'm a loyal person and I still have an account with you guys but the fee's for using the account means that for one day in a month, I will go without eating. That's right, everyday my budget is five dollars and its spent on ramen. take care

Deborah, the time has Come | 1
To: Debora Spar, Goldman Sachs
The revolution is here and the 1% will be held accountable for the crimes against people all over the world they have committed. Yes, you make big money, but at what cost to your soul? At what cost to human suffering? Can you walk around with your head held high knowing that what you do HELPS people? Goldman-Sachs is one of the worst offenders in the nation. I don't have to tell you why because you know in your heart what you and your corporation have done. If you were to pass on today, and your God showed your life and what people you effected. Would you be elated to see it in front of angelic witnesses or would you fearfully not want to look? Someday your life will be reviewed and you will have to feel the pain you inflicted on others through your decisions. Their sorrow and tears will be felt by you. The American people have taken off the blindfolds and we see Wallstreet and the people therein as a detriment to our society. I personally could never do anything about that. However together with the 99% we have the power to change anything in the US and we have awakened to the atrocities that have been inflicted upon us. We will not be silent, but stand united until the change has come that we seek. Think not that it can't happen here. This is only the beginning. This is that time in history where the people stand up and say "NO MORE, WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH" For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows. -The Bible (1 Timothy :10)
Closed my account | 8
To: Jamie Dimon, JPMorgan Chase
I had a problem with my account and went to my local branch after Chase took over Washington Mutual where I was a customer since Washington Mutual took over Bank United. I sat there while, Michael, who worked there, turned the screen around towards him and looked at every transaction I made and I cannot tell you how demeaning this was. I was 60 when I was laid off and while my current job pays $43,000 less, I still pay my bills and did not need Michael to hem and ha and make me feel like a pauper. To make matters worse, in 2005, Compass Bank lost a payment my bank sent to them. They refused to investigate for over 4 months, during which time they placed a mark on my credit file. I contacted not only your bank, where I had credit cards, but others telling them what happened and enclosed a copy of the letter from my bank. Your company told me, in rude terms, sorry, but your interest rate is being raised to 33.33% for non-payment. What I owed at that time was back enough, but after you and the rest of the people piled, I went owing from $18,000 to over $44,000. Nice. It is amazing that when Compass finally "found" this mistake, and basically told me that "sorry they took 4 months to find their mistake" and I sent this letter out, you still refused to back off your interest hike. I moved my account to a credit union who today proved out outstanding they are. My mortgage company, Suntrust, took out 2 payments versus one and refused to credit my account the overdraft fees. My credit union did. They did not ask a mountain of questions, they simply told me they saw where my mortgage company took out too payments and they did not want me to pay for this. When this happened before with Suntrust, Chase told me sorry, you have to pay. Amazing to me that just changing to a credit union is like going back to the 60s, 70s, 80s where companies welcomed your business, they knew you by name, they worked with you, and you trusted them. Today, you can't get anyone from this country in customer service and it is all about the dollar. I hope every cancels their credit cards, deals in cash, changes their banks to credit unions and put everyone one of the folks who are all about greed in the unemployment line - but unfortunately that won't apply to you - only to the ones working for you...you will just go off with your large bonus and call us ungrateful.

tired of elites working in wall street | 5
To: Gregory K Palm, Goldman Sachs
Hi, I, too, once worked briefly on wall street and what I witnessed was extremely sad. So many of the brightest science and math graduates from the finest universities have passed on a life of cutting edge research and developing technological solutions to better society in favor of pointless day trading on financial exchanges. These are the same folks that have developed CDO's, CDS's and all kinds of other useless arcane derivatives. None of this creates any wealth or value for the 99%. I'm sick and tired of the non-stop lobbying for greater deregulation, sick and tired of billionaire hedge fund managers having the lowest tax rates, and just plain sick and tired of the short-term thinking that has come to dominate the culture. I am happy to see that your company lost revenue and plans to sack more financiers and hustlers at your coroporation. I will boycott Goldman Sachs and I will do what I can to prevent companies like yours from recruiting on campuses. Jason
Bribery? | 3
To: Peter Orszag, Citigroup
Peter, I need a pen pal, but not in the form of the weekly CitiBank credit card applications. I have stuffed the return envelopes with messages from th 99% and returned these applications, and still they come, one per week. The latest offers me $200.00. Peter, you can't buy us off, it's too late. Because of greed, the Wall Street criminals will never be trusted again. What irks me is that no one you know has gone to jail for destroying the world economy. It makes me sick. Today, I plan to return the latest application with a snarky message to CitiBank, or as we like to call it....ShittyBank. I will also send back the $200.00 offer - I'm quite sure you don't yet make enough money and probably need this more than we do. Although we are in the ever shrinking, barely middle class, we're happy with what we've got. We are the 99% and we will NEVER own a CitiBank card.
