  • B of A | 0

To: Brian T Moynihan, Bank of America
Please consider the fact that B of A is making money off the working poor and the unemployed. In fact, Food Stamp cards have the Bof A logo and are debit cards from your bank.

Please pay your fair share of taxes like the rest of us.

  • Don't be so greedy. | 1

    To: Lowell C McAdam, Verizon
Mr. McAdam, I find it terribly unjust that so much money gets wasted on lavish lifestyles, lobbying, etc... and then when it comes to providing a DECENT wage for the workers that carry a company, there just doesn't seem to be enough money left. Not to mention the injustice in the fact that regular working citizens (who often struggle and have to sacrifice many small luxuries) have to pay their fair share in taxes, while those who need for nothing hire lawyers to find loopholes in order avoid paying taxes... OR WORSE.. Corporations like yours that make billions in profits and then spend money with lawyers and lobbyists rather than just paying your taxes and contributing to this country like everyone else. I hope you can see how wrong that is.

To: John G Stumpf, Wells Fargo
Look I pay my tax if I don't I go to jail! If I don't pay my house note you foreclose on my house which isn't worth a dollar of what I'm pay for it! Wake up, you can't make money if I don't pay, and if don't put my money in it!

Reinvest in America and pay a fair share of taxes. We will not survive as a country without the support of our corporations.

  • I closed all my accounts with your bank | 0

To: Brian T Moynihan, Bank of America
Due to rampant fraud and bad faith by Bank of America, after We The People bailed you out to the tune of BILLIONS, I recently closed all my checking and savings accounts with your bank and moved my money and business to a credit union.

  • Greetings from the 99% | 0

    To: Lowell C McAdam, Verizon
As a long-time (unwilling) dissatisfied customer of Verizon, I am less than thrilled to learn that you don't pay Federal corporate income taxes. It's tough for me and others in my situation to make up for what you don't pay, so how about stepping up to the plate and do your fair share!

  • pay your fair taxes as we all do | 0

    To: Lowell C McAdam, Verizon
It's unfair and unpatriotic to dodge taxes on profits you've made while the ordinary struggling worker has no lobbyist to set up loop holes for them to dodge through.

  • Imagine a fairer world; you can help make it happen! | 0

    To: Lowell C McAdam, Verizon
Although CWA and IBEW members have returned to the bargaining table, Verizon still has not agreed to a fair contract for its 45,000 union workers. From 2008-2010 Verizon did not pay any federal corporate income taxes, despite billions in profits. Mr. McAdam, you can afford to support the middle class jobs of your workers; please take care of that!

  • Verizon avoiding US taxes | 0

    To: Ivan G Seidenberg, Verizon
    Dear Mr. Seidenberg:

I have been reading that Verizon does not pay corporate income taxes in the US despite being very profitable due to US infrastructure, technology, and American workers. As a Verizon customer I am ashamed.

Please consider who your customers are, we are American workers and citizens, and deserve a fair wage and support for our government.

    Sincerely

    Hello
Your bank's name is an oxymoron: Bank of America.
Then do what America is asking banking to be.
Stop taking short cuts on your taxes.

  • note form a customer | 3

To: John G Stumpf, Wells Fargo
    HI
I actually hold a mortgage with you, so technically I am your customer. I believed in the American dream, college, career, children & home...Till this day buying a home was by far the worst decsion we made. Your practices are highly unfair. Even though I am in good standing you will not allow me to refinance because I chose to leave my 6 figure job to raise my children and volunteer in my community. Yet my husband and I still pay the same amount of taxes as you do? If we want to refinance we have to pay an additional $60K..what is wrong with this?
How long can you continue to do this to America? Support an increase in your tax bracket its the right thing to do.
Also note a new kind of American is being bred, the children of parents like me, who know what democracy should look like and will fight on American soil with no weapons for it. That generation is here and that is the future of America not the one sold to the children of the 60's.

  • Hello from West Harlem | 4

    To: Lowell C McAdam, Verizon
    Hello
I am writing to you as an American 1st, and then as a customer.
If you make so much do not be affraid to accept a higher tax bracket. Suggest it, embrace it. You are where you are because we were a land of opportunity. Stop turning the American Dream into a nigttmare because you want to profit more. Newsflash when you leave this earth your possesions stay behind your actions live on forever.
Do what is right & know we will not stop until you and many like you do.

  • "there but for the grace of god, go I" | 1

To: Barbara J Desoer, Bank of America
Who amongst you represents the best interests of the children? everyones children? Who stands up to acknowledge that todays decision will have consequences over the long haul & that even though they or you may not be there that you all hold many lives in your hands. Oh sure, its only $ but it represents something much more. Security, trust, having a job of value, having health and healthcare, being able to provide for those one loves ---wow, these are huge. I offer you this.... "there but for the grace of god, go I". It helps me when i am being self-centered, you know... to gain empathy. Sure its a hard concept to offer but make it happen. Look where you are, must have lots of guts to be there, & smarts, etc. Use them to help keep your souls intact. I see us all as one. I hope you do as well. We are sisters and brothers. It is time to share & you will be proud when you do even if it means standing up against some strong individuals who just don't get this brotherly love thing. [as they seem to command the most attention] just remind yourselves how it was in school with the class bully. B U T now u have power, use it for the good of your sisters/brothers/moms/dads/& our youth!

  • Happy New Year! | 6

To: John F W Rogers, Goldman Sachs
Hi John! Archander here, wishing you the very best that 2012 has to offer.

2012 will be an epic year for me, I'm hoping. I've long wanted to take a bite of the Big Apple - and guess what? I'm aiming to make this long-cherished dream come true in 2012! Oh yes, I'm headed for New York City as soon as I am able. My circumstances prevent me from booking a holiday for the next two months, but I'll be heading your way in the spring. Ah, April in the Apple. I'll be worming my way towards Ground Zero right away, to see what you're doing to the place, but next stop will be one still-standing temple of Mammon, GSHQ!

Oh I'll be there, John. If I say I'm going to do something, I'll do it! I'm tenacious. In fact, my tenacity is legendary in my cell block. They call me Cool Hand Luke. If I wanted to eat fifty eggs, I'd do it, all right. I wouldn't be so stupid as to eat a bunch of eggs, though. No, I'm aiming to meet a famous person - and that person is you!

    Keep the coffee-pot warmed!

  • Enlightened Self-Interest vs CEO bonuses based on Quarterly Profits | 2

To: Gregory K Palm, Goldman Sachs
What is "Enlightened Self-Interest"? Ninety-eight years ago today (Jan. 5, 1914) Henry Ford cut factory workers hours to 40 A WEEK at work and DOUBLED their wages to $5 A DAY. He called it "enlightened self-interest" and afterward his workers could afford to buy the Model-T cars they made. In the the 1830s Alexis de Tocqueville, noted the same American attribute, calling it "Self-interest rightly understood." WHEN DID American employers lose this traditional virtue, instead chasing after CEO bonuses linked to quarterly profit reports?

  • Do unto others as you would have done unto yourself... | 1

To: Barbara J Desoer, Bank of America
It's really the only rule we have to live by. You probably missed this lesson since you work for one of the institutions that consider themselves people but have no heart. Good luck sleeping easy when everything hits the fan.
Also, happy holidays...wondering what you are giving the 15 month old in your life. You know what we can afford to give ours? Not much. Ah well....at least he knows he is loved. Hope you are too.
