Please know that your corporate behavior is under scrutiny. I promise to change my business and personal accounts to a competitor unless you pay your fair share of taxes and treat your employees with respect - something that you are not currently doing. Our patience has ended and we are united, finally!
Hello, I live in the country you seem to operate out of and the only way for this country to operate correctly is for everyone to pay their fair share of taxes. I am sending you a message asking that you do your part, and help this country see another year without becoming under new management of the Chinese government. Thank you for your time.
I understand that Verizon has not yet negotiated a fair contract with its workers. The company has come to bat for its top executives. When will it do the same for its workers? When will it pay its fair share of taxes? When will it do its part to maintain a strong middle class for all our citizens? When will you understand that the American Dream should not be limited to only the 1%?
Pay the taxes you owe instead of charging them all on your customers. Yes, I know many of the taxes on my bill are legitimate, but you are also passing some of your taxes off to the customers in the form of taxes and extra fees. Have everyone at the top of your company take a 1% cut in wages, stock and bonuses. I am sure that will more than cover the cost. I know it would make you an Incredibly popular company with We the People!
I have an iPhone and i love my verizon service and can't tell you what an improvement it is over ATT! BUT it has come to my attention that Verizon is not paying ts fair share of taxes, and this is distressing to me, because I have to pay my fair share as does my husband, and my daughter and her family. Now if the economy were to improve as a result of corporations chipping in their fair share, and Verizon led the way in doing this, and the economy improves, there would be so many more verizon subscribers..consider that!
I ask you once again to bargain fairly with the Verizon employees. Lets see some positive progress at the bargaining table.

Your company must pay its fair share of taxes. You must treat your workers well.

Pay your taxes Verizon. Why do you think people won't see how much you pay? Pay a higher tax and be proud to be an American who pays his fare amount. We'll all be watching to see what you do with this!
Larry D. Grazier
We will never know, cause we pay our taxes! Please bargain fair. My kids and family need to keep our house and vehicles!

DEFINITION: New York's Austerity Mongers (eh, Managers) are defined as lobbyists who would rather see a child go homeless and a teacher fired than see their friends in the 1% pay their fair share in taxes. How about giving a nod to the 99% and follow the Buffett Rule. If you have more money than you can carry, you pay a higher rate than your chef.

Fiscal stimuli and debt relief are necessary to spur increased employment which, in turn, will spur our consumer-based economy. If consumers are jobless and starving, we kill ourselves economically.
Karen Hedwig Backman
Verizon, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America have all spent billion$ on lobbying since they helped crash the economy – more than they paid in corporate taxes. In fact, not only have they spent billion$ buying access, they've all gamed the system to receive millions in TAX REFUND$! I find that offensive! When middle Americans and the working poor are being told we have to tighten our belts, what are you and your company doing to strengthen this country? Paying taxes would be a start.
Dr. Boris J Dirnbach
Nothing but thieves. You guys make me sick. Let the poor people eat cake.
I got stuck with your proprietary funds and ended up with nothing. Let the poor eat cake.
Instead of using money to lobby congress to manipulate the system to avoid paying your fair share, just pay that money in taxes. Give back to the consumers who use your services. Those people fill your coffers, without them you'd have no profit. Because of your company's political activity we, as a family, use virgin mobile and sprint basically boycotting your company, ATT and T-mobile.

I have to file my taxes each year and in most cases we end up owing. My income is less than $100,000 a year. Unfortunately, I cannot hide under any loopholes or stash money in the caymans. If I have to pay then so should you and your company. If you and others like yourselves paid taxes like me, I wouldn't be contacting you. Be an American and PAY YOUR TAXES!!!!

It really saddens me to know that big companies such as Verison can get away with paying taxes. Where is the morality for the middle class and all those who helped bring this company where it is toda. You may have have the vision and ideas but it's the middle class and all those that don't make the big $$$ that actually make the company run smoothly. Don't think of your greed and pay the taxes.
Im a member of you bank, I pay my taxes... can you do too?

I was appalled that Verizon demanded that their fitness room remain open in the weather that WA State declared an emergency. Forcing employees to work double shifts and to walk to and from work in the dark in the heavy snows for that week. Nobody is worth being paid more than One (1) million dollars per year for their services, anything more than that is excessive greed. I pulled your P&L and balance sheet off your webpage reports and did your taxes without all the greed and I suggest you start paying them!

I have a mortgage, credit card and debit car with WellsFargo. The largest chunk of my money goes toward your company every month. On top of that, I have to pay lots of taxes, high interest rates, fees, etc. Why not pay your fair share of taxes too, as the rest of middle class America? We all want a better place to live and enrich our country with greatness, better economy and higher standard of living. Do what's right. Do it for your country, specially in this time of need.
Although CWA and IBEW members have returned to the bargaining table, Verizon still has not agreed to a fair contract for up to 50,000 union workers. From 2008-2010 Verizon did not pay any federal corporate income taxes, despite billions in profits. Mr. Crump, you can afford to support the middle class jobs of your workers; please take care of that!
Please pay your taxes like all responsible citizens must, and do not cut union jobs. Things are bad enough with you making it worse. My Verizon bills goes higher & higher every few months and you bills couldn't be more difficult to discern. Remember the "little" people that keep you in business!
As a former Verizon user ( I now use ATT), I find it disgraceful that your company pays no federal taxes. It is disgusting that executives salaries triple and union workers are expected to pay for your excesses!! I transferred to ATT when you forced Unions into a strike. Unions built this country and your treatment of the American worker is reprehensible.
Those in power should be more concerned with those making your company function from day-to-day. Helping your worthy employees is simply the right thing to do. The facts speak for themselves and, at this stage of the game, Verizon is in a very bad light indeed. Do you care? If so, I urge you to stand along side your middle-class employees and help them to continue supporting their families and our country. Do the right thing.
