  • Treat your employees right | 0

    To: John Doherty, Verizon
You don't care about your employees. All you care about is how much money YOU make. Your company's behavior is disgusting in every way and while you treat your employees this way and take money from the US government rather than pay the taxes you rightfully owe I and my family will not do business with your company. I have alternatives. I also will make sure to discourage every single person I know from using your services.

  • please stop destoying the middle class of America | 0

    To: Ivan G Seidenberg, Verizon
    Please stop putting profits before lives; you cannot take money with you;
All you will have when you leave this world is the lives you enriched while you were here.Lives you damaged goes on the opposite ledger and no-one wants a lot of those credits.

“You expect your workers to give back their hard-won benefits and pay even while you and yours wriggle out of your financial responsibilities to this country. Pay your taxes and treat your workers with respect.” Your employees are paying their taxes Verizon should to.

To: Francis J. (Fran) Shammo, Verizon
    Hello,
After being a subscriber to your service for 7 years I recently quit due to your very questionable business practices (tax evasion, union busting). Know that unethical business practices will result in loss of subscribers.

  • Living as we were raised to. | 0

    To: Lowell C McAdam, Verizon
What happened to working hard and accepting responsibility for you actions? Remember, without happy healthy employees, the executives do not get those extensively over-paid salaries and bonuses. When did it become acceptable to deny your responsibilities of healthcare for employees? Are you still insured? Did you make millions last year?yet it is ok to make the people that produce your income pay for Verizon's shortcomings? Then as a corporation making billions you can't even pay your taxes?as a whole your organization should be ashamed of yourselves.

  • Un-American Activity | 0

To: Anthony J. (Tony) Melone Sr., Verizon
Verizon, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America have all spent billions on lobbying since they helped crash the economy – more than they paid in corporate taxes. In fact, not only have they spent billion buying access, they've all gamed the system to receive millions in TAX REFUNDS!

    I find that offensive and anti-american !

  • Disgusting... | 0

    To: Lowell C McAdam, Verizon
It's absolutely disheartening how little your hard working employees earn while you and the rest of your rich crony colleagues sit pretty on your fancy thrones collecting salaries fit for kings! And then, to top things off, the company has avoided paying federal corporate income taxes from 2008-2010 while raking in billions in profit. It's time things change! Pretty soon, there will be no more middle class in America. Show some respect for the 45,000 people who work hard to make Verizon the company that it is. Give them what they are asking for at the bargaining table. Without them, Verizon would not exist.

  • Do unto others as you would have done to you | 0

    To: Lowell C McAdam, Verizon
It's a simple concept. You expect to be treated with respect, paid for the work you do, and to receive the benefits that our country funds from our tax system, such as security, protection, and education. Why is it hard to believe that the people working for you expect the same? It is the height of hypocrisy to demand that your workers accept cuts in wages and benefits even as you work every possible loophole to avoid paying taxes and line the pockets of those politicians willing to listen.

    Hey Brian,

It's tax time ... time to give back to the 99% who saved your bank from ruin. I used to be a customer, but you took too much of my money by gaming the system.

  • Equality is Essential for Sustainable Business- Pair Your Fair Share Now! | 0

To: Thomas J. (Tom) Tauke, Verizon
    Hello Thomas,

My family and I have been Verizon customers for many years now, and in many ways are very pleased with the services that your company has provided. However, I have recently learned that Verizon is unwilling to negotiate a fair contract with your workers and retain the middle class jobs that are the backbone of this country.

Please step up to the plate and support all workers and consumers with a fair contract for your workers, or risk losing the business of many.

    Thank you for your time.

  • Negotiate a Fair Contract | 0

    To: Lowell C McAdam, Verizon
    Dear Mr. McAdam,

I am writing to ask that you bargain in faith and come up with a fair contract. Your company has managed to avoid paying federal corporate income taxes from 2008-2010 while raking in billions in profit, yet you seem to believe that you have no civic duty to negotiate a fair contract with the IBEW and CWA. Your workers undoubtedly paid income taxes for those years. I disagree with this. I believe that big corporations DO have a civic duty to provide jobs that pay a fair wage to American workers.

    Please do the right thing!

  • Taxes | 0

    To: Lowell C McAdam, Verizon
I am an average citizen working hard, paying my taxes every year. As of right now I owe, the IRS over $5k and I don't even know how I'm going to pay them back. Why is it that companies like you don't get to pay taxes, I mean how is that even possible?!?!? You executives earn atleast 10 times more than me and your company make millions. Come on! Pay your dues and do not destroy the hard working middles class!! I am tired of all this non-sense where all these companies and executives make thousands and thousands of dollars and I can't even see the light. This is not right!

  • Verizon workers deserve a fair contract! | 0

    To: Lowell C McAdam, Verizon
I live in NY, where Verizon workers work hard to keep our service intact. I am discouraged that Verizon would not be working hard to settle this contract in a way that helps rebuild our economy and preserves good jobs. Please settle this contract soon!

    To: Lowell C McAdam, Verizon
    Dear Mr. McAdam,

I'm trusting that you are not unintelligent, nor unkind. I'm hoping you are thoughtful and will begin to reconsider your company's priorities. I'm hoping you will recognize that if your company does not adopt socially responsible policies in regards to its workers there will be sufficient unhappy clients who will take their business to companies that are socially responsible, truly socially responsible.

  • Don't rob from the people who make success possible!!! | 0

    To: Ivan G Seidenberg, Verizon
    Dear Sir;

There is a problem in this country which is destroying it. It is the accumulation of wealth at the top. We the working people deserve better. When this country was at its most prosperous it is when management and Unions worked hand in hand. Money is a means to let goods flow, a lubricant if you will, it is not meant to be horded to increase wealth. Money is a means not an end. Give your Union workers a fair contract. In solidarity. • Fair Wages for Good People | 0

    To: Lowell C McAdam, Verizon
You guys have been robbing both shareholders and customers blind for years. Its time to provide good wages AND benefits to your people even if it means a little less from your millions in compensation and benefits.
Remember Ivan got about 117M in 2000 when BA merged to become Verizon and the top 7 executives got almost a half a BILLION in compensation for that year alone. Surely that is enough to last a lifetime. Let some of those huge profits trickle down to the workers who also have to live.
