Hi-My husband and I are Verizon customers and have been for years! We believe in unions: employee rights and fair wages and negotiations. We wonder how corporations can make huge amounts of money and disregard how employees contribute to that success. How much is enough profit? I ask that you bargain in good faith and do the right thing...not just for the company for also for the employees! Thank you!

  • It's time to put an end to insatiable greed | 3

    To: Ivan G Seidenberg, Verizon
Until you and your colleagues agree to bargain with Verizon's hard working men and women in good faith, I will ensure that neither I or anyone in my social circle use your products and/or services. I will also organize family and friends to contribute money into a fund that will donate money to any friend or family member that has to pay to cancel their contract with your organization.

Well, I guess it is time to start a campaign to convince all verizon customers to drop verizon as a carrier. This means all verizon wireless customers too!!!!
Straighten out your company and how it operates or I hope to be able to lead a campaign that drives you out of business.

Verizon is gaining a bad reputation with their current contract dispute. As a Verizon customer I feel screwed over with every bill, yet you will not share your company's billions in profits with your workers. Shame on you and your company. Any company's good stewardship applies to their workers as well as investors.

Come on guys. You are making a fine amount of money. Maybe you could take a little less just to make sure the "little guy" in your company can continue to enjoy a moderate level of living. After all, how much money does one really need once they are making the big bucks you guys make. Thank you.

  • you must not like your customers.... | 1

    To: Lowell C McAdam, Verizon
....because doing things like charging them a "convenience fee" to pay their bills and now this, asking your workers to give up benefits while Verizon refuses to own up to it's responsibilities to pay taxes, you're really giving longtime customers such as myself every reason to take their business elsewhere. My contract with Verizon expires in October and I'm sure someone else would like to collect my $100+ a month.

  • Remember your roots | 1

    To: Ivan G Seidenberg, Verizon
As a proud retiree of Verizon I am angered and embarrassed by the greed of corporate. When we started with the phone company we knew we had a job for life and we were a family working together and looking out for each other. Why would you want to break the backbone of this company????--reps, techs and all the other people that deal with our customers on a daily basis??? We need the younger technical savvy techs to grow our company. More people on Long Island want Fios--expand!!! Keep our economy growing and keep our jobs!! How would you have felt going to work on a daily basis worrying about the loss of a job and not being able to support your family?? Put yourself in your current employees' shoes!! Stop the greed and start sharing with the lower paid employees who need benefits and good wages. Don't blame our pensions---I could not live in my house on just my pension. Remember your roots and where you started and then PLEASE remember your loyal employees Thank you in advance.

    To: Robert (Bob) Mudge, Verizon
It's truly a shame that GREED consumes the souls and a few as your small powerful group welds the ability to rob from those that help you make those huge sums! I could go on but you already know what the right thing there is to do..... All of you guilty know but don't and haven't cared drawing in those big fat pay checks that you have been justifying with all your lies and deceit!

Stand up and finally do the right thing.... Pay your damn fair share!!!!!

    To: Lowell C McAdam, Verizon
I cannot fathom what it feels like to take advantage of hard working people while you and your minions line your pockets. How do you look at yourself in the mirror? Who told you that you are so much better and more deserving?
Well, you're not. Your greed has blinded you to human kindness and suffering. It does that. It enables you to feel powerful and special and better than the people who work to make you your millions.
So enjoy your riches now because what really counts in life won't be there when you need it. But then you're probably too cold to know the difference.

  • Outsourcing | 0

    To: Lowell C McAdam, Verizon
if companies such as Verizon, continue to outsource jobs, what do you think will happen? The paychecks you give these employees in other counties only stimulates their economy, not here in the US.

Have you thought about what this will mean to yours and other companies. It will prevent peopl from being able to afford your products, and simply not use them, choosing to do without.

Eventually with the trickle effect this will trickle up eventually effecting you. If the public can't pay for your services because they can't get descent jobs. You too my friend will be out of work.

See you on the unemployment line Mr McAdam, you and all your management cronies will be there. Standing right next to the employees you put there. All due to your greed.

    Dear Mr. McAdam,
I am sadden to hear how you are treating your employees. I'm not surprised about Verizon not paying taxes but at least I can believe you just don't agree with government. still the people who come to work day after day just to earn enough to keep a roof over their head and food on their table deserve to be treated with respect. They are not the government and they are the ones who put money in your pocket and afford your comfortable lifestyle. Please try to put yourself in their shoes and see that no one is trying to get anything over on you, they just want to live without worry. I think that you can understand if your really try.

I urge you to resign your position if you find that you are unable to arrange the Corporation to operate in an ethical manner. That includes negotiating fair contracts with employees and providing honest cost data to customers.

I expect to discuss that with you at grater length at the annual meeting.

You must be aware that it is no secret that that the present economy of invented, valueless currency will soon be a thing of the past. No currency is based upon any holding to back up their issue and it is a fact that is no longer a secret. Only Human Labour has value as that is all that is required to accomplish anything. No Human requires currency for education, health, construction etc. This is an illusion.
Try being an Honest man for once in your life - even a first time is better than no time at all -. There is only one truth. Go ahead and try to be honest at least once. The currency slavers will only laugh as you seek to grasp more and more of their worthless paper with coloured pictures on it. How much is enough? You will be judged only by your actions and never by your words. Words that do not reflect in action make you and empty, hollow man.
     There is only one truth.
